when i was seriously bored, i was looking over all the technical rule crap for no apparent reason. Then i saw this
"7th Technical Foul = Competition Ban from all remaining 2011 LAN Center Tournaments"

Does any1 know anything about this? Im I in the dark or did me seriously nerding it up uncover something? :D

No. The new thing with MLG this year is LAN center points. I guess they have designated LAN centers or something that they work with and keep track of all the tournaments that go on in them, which somehow translates into some kind of points with MLG. They are trying to promote LAN centers now I believe so hopefully that answered your question :)

As a few others have said, this has to do with the LAN centers that are going to be affiliated with MLG. MLG has been trying to find the best LAN centers across the country to host tournaments, so the winners of those tournaments give teams points that translate to MLG event seedings and whatnot.

That ia a great idea for MLG to team up with LAN centers. Any links to articles about this i would like to learn more.

These LAN center tournaments are to take the place of Doritos Combines, since Doritos is no longer a sponsor to my knowledge.

They reached out to multiple lan centers across the country and will be hosting little tournaments that give you seeding points for the actual events.

Ugh. The only thing we have in Austin is a PC Lan center. I wouldn't even had a chance. Lol.
