Dibs has a great guide you should check it out, but basically you need to just go to events and do well, at least imo.

I have a question for you Dibs. What kind of companies would you go after? I mean, around where I live, there are not a lot of gaming "stores." To be totally honest, I have no clue in where to go to even begin the talking process.

people need to learn to network more instead of flat out asking for a sponsor. Most kids don't deserve one, and others whine about not having enough money. Just speaking generally.

Get good. Network with others. Sponsors will call you, don't call them.

It doesn't even have to be a gaming store. Any small business enjoys advertisement. Also, you can't be nervous to ask a bunch of different companies for a sponsorship. You have to be willing to be turned down a lot of times before you find a real sponsor. If you can't handle that, then you probably wom't get one.

Any company you see that you think could use advertising really. then break it down and think of the general audience you would promote to (mlg kids = 16-24) think of things you use when you game. there is alot to look in to

Ill try to put this into gaming terms. you have to lose before you can win.

But at events the majority of the people are late teens. MM is completely different.
