Why I Fell In Love With The TLN Userbase

They make playing Reach fun. A couple of months ago a friend and I posted on the MLG forums asking for adds for customs and all that jazz. I got nothing but the usual elitist jerks and it was no fun playing because they took things too seriously. I posted on here a few days ago and everyone I've played with so far have been cool dudes that know how to have fun with the game. I <3 you The Lan Network.

I love TLN! My first time actually investing some passion into it was this weekend with the Pros v Joes 2. Within one weekend I feel the community knew what kind of person I was. But most importantly, the community enjoys me for who I am. It really is a nice cozy warm welcoming from everybody involved with TLN. I really really really REALLY am enjoying it here.

Agree wholeheartedly with the OP. Slightly embarrassed to say I haven't played with any of you yet, as I usually have my own group I'm with - but they aren't on all the time and I really need to enhance my playlist with people who know the game, are cool, and tolerate my occasional spat of noobish play as I get better. lol. I really look forward to getting into some games with the community here!

i've been here for a very short period of time and i can already tell that this place is a lot better than the mlg forums, or the mlg "community". i've even ran across people with TLN tags in-game on the MLG playlist who showed a lot of class.

well these forums have been a lot better than mlg's. i know mlgs was good back in the halo 2 days but now a lot of the bnet kids moved to mlgs forum. really depressing but thankfully there is this thread.
