Hey guys, I wanted to get everyones opinions that have come to the Pros vs Joes camps these last 2 times. What are some things that you really enjoyed? Anything that the pros need to work in throughout the weekend? Any feedback is appreciated, thanks guys!!

As a veiwer if we could get gangsta Big Daddy T to threaten the life of an opponent while wearing panties around his neck like he did in True Life that would be great... pretty much the sole why he's my favorite pro and why I root for instinct.

Actually that's a lie... Totz's dancing is bar none better than all the other pro's and my favorite movie is Top Gun it's easy to see why I root for the twins. haha

PvJ #1 was overall an amazing experience, best weekend of my life so far!
Everything was better than I expected.
I guess one thing that the pros can work on is getting to know their Joe's better. If you know your teammates better, than you'll play better as a team. And talking to them more out of game will make them more comfortable to communicate in game; communication is a huge part of winning in this game.
I know how much a lot of you guys hate losing, but honestly, staying calm during a game and complimenting your Joe's on the smallest achievement is very important. In my opinion, that was the key to our (Team Fear's) success at PvJ 1.
The Joe's look up to you guys, so it's up to you to set a good example. You have to be very selfless, and put the Joe's before yourself.

I hope that all made sense, and helps out for future Fantasy Camps.

TBH, and this is no slap in the face to Instinct because I'm friends with all of you and you're some of my favorite players, I think that each PvJ should maybe have 6 new pros and that Instinct and FiS shouldn't take up 5 of the 6 spots. I know I personally would be a lot more likely to go if it was all of FB +2 of my other favorite pros and I'm sure fans of TD, Carbon, SQ, etc would feel the same way. Perhaps from PvJ to PvJ you could have like all of FB plus a couple of other guys that might not ever get picked to go in that 6th spot (Robbie B, Clutch, other guys with amazing personalities) and the next PvJ could be all of SQ and a couple other guys, etc... or even have 6 pros from completely different teams so that the campers can really get a good mix of their favorite pros.

If each PvJ is going to be Instinct & FiS +1, it's going to get a little old. To me it's the same thing as having the same 6 teams at each LAN. It's nice seeing Warriors, Power, Impact, Darkest Hour, etc get their time on screen as well. It keeps things fresh. Perhaps you could have guys like T2 and FiS doing commentary or something when they are not a part of the event itself. IDK, just thinking outside the box.

I agree w/ Shelly... I only really got to tlk to Og2 during the games. Not all of the pros were like that, but a lot were.

Talking trash with the guys, trust me we all die laughing. Meeting everyone. Getting that Overkill exterm on Lunch's team ahaha. Such a good weekend.

I was pretty satisfied with everything. It was all better than what I expected. Lunchbox was the best captain I could ask for and any advice I asked for, him and even Towey were there to help. I disagree with you Hea7, all the pros were friendly and easy to talk to. I learned new things from all of them and I talked to OG2 quite a bit and wasn't even on his team. Lunchbox turned me into an Instinct fan and he's by far the best in the game right now.

Instinct top 1!

I think for the most part it really depends on what the Fantasy Camper wants out of PvJ. For me, I saw this as an opportunity to simply get a different perspective on how the game should be played and to get a feel for different play styles. I think for the most part people are going for similar reasons. Might be nice for the Pros to really take a step back and look at their teams strengths and weaknesses and help Joes develop a better team game.

I personally walked away with exactly what I wanted but I don't know about the rest of the Joes. Maybe once people get signed up to go they should submit a little blurb about what they are expecting or wanting to gain from attending. Then you can do more things that are catered to the general consensus of the group.

....I think that each PvJ should maybe have 6 new pros and that Instinct and FiS shouldn't take up 5 of the 6 spots....

I think a little variety would be nice but after spending a weekend with these guys I could watch them destroy on live stream all day every day.

Final Boss and Instinct top 2 teams in the game!

The whole weekend was awesome! Even though Tom was griping at us, it was constructive criticism. The things he was saying really helped out my game and I would rather have had him bitching at us than just getting pissed and not saying anything at all.

I am planning on going to #4 and I would say that I would like to see the pros giving everyone some tips on Friday night while they were watching everyone playing random 4's before the tournament started.

Also, some more blankets and sleeping bags would be nice. Sleeping on the ground with no blankets was pretty cold, lol.

Everything was awesome, all though i feel that I personally did not take much back with me from this weekend. The only thing FiS really said was don't flood the Mic and talk to your teammates. Other than that he didn't really tell me anything I did wrong or why. Beyond Gameplay though this was the best weekend of my life, I hope to return to PvJ #4, especially since I feel that I could perform a lot better with some more practice.

Also I would like to see in the future maybe you guys take a list of Joes names and ask them who they would want as their Pro for the weekend. Just a thought, and I regret saying "I hoped I wasn't picked by T2" Seems Like he tried to teach his team alot more about the Game then FiS.

I had a great time as I explained in my fancy blog. The house keeps getting and looking better and I'll be bringing my going neg on the reg mojo back.

Time has passed and I've considered the weekend from a learning perspective. For me as a bad 'casual' player looking to improve I found the best moments were live comments on my game play in the moment. If each Joe could get a 'ride along' game with a pro personally coaching their play I think Joes would benefit.

Something inside is saying this is a dumb idea but I'm thinking some kind of diagram of the maps, even a screen grab would aid in explaining some strategy to a guy like me.

Keep producing and I'll keep watching.

I would love to go. :) *ahem*

And that's kind of my point. Strongside is at the next one. Flamesword is going to be at one later in the summer. At this pace with this format it might be years before some of you guys that want to be a part of this get a chance to do so. At this last PvJ the ONLY POV I watched was Ogre 2 (for obvious reasons). I really wasn't too curious about the others because I had seen all of them and how they interacted with their Joes at the last PvJ.

During the first PvJ I moved around from stream to stream to see "How fired up is T2 going to get," "Is Roy going to rage even at Joes?" and "How is Totz as a leader?", etc... I already had those answers this time around for 5 of the 6 leaders.

The only reason I am going to spend my precious time watching PvJ is if:

1. I am good friends with some of the Joes (guys like Chickens, etc.)
2. Ogre 2 is there.
3. There are other pros/teams I am interested in learning more about.

These are the things that will keep me glued to the screen for an entire weekend. And let's face it, if the pros weren't there and it was 16 Joes going at it, I'm not watching for more than a half hour tops. Now, that's not to say that once a Pro has had his chance at the house that I think they should never get to do it again. I am also interested in seeing certain pros that are rivals go at it as well so it could be looked at as an opportunity to cash in on those rivalries further.

To use an analogy that will hopefully show that I'm not trying to be a jerk:

Imagine some of your favorite NBA players/NFL players leading a 5v5/7v7 respectively with the rest of the team just random people that have signed up and want the chance to play with some of the top dogs.maybe get better and see how they stack up against the best. Even if they are your favorite players, I think that people could only watch so much of the same guys going out there all the time leading a bunch of people that you might not even know at all. What would make it interesting is to have different rival point guards/quarterbacks/receivers, etc out there each time keeping things interesting so you could see how different players lead, how rivals react, the different coaching styles, etc...

I WOULD like to have other pros, besides Instinct and FB being the Pros. Dont get me wrong, they are awesome. But it will seem repetitive after a while :)

I agree with Shelly completely. I had a great time at PvJ. It was an awesome experience. And I learned a ton from the pros, my own mistakes/good games/ and even from watching other Joes. But I think that some of the Pro's could have been a little more social with the Joes. Don't get me wrong, there is alot of commotion throughout the weekend, and 18 Joes and only 6 Pros, so it is understandable that not everybody gets to have in-depth social time with everybody else. Overall it was pretty well operated, and I will definitely be back for another PvJ, if my wallet allows for it! Maybe PvJ #4 who knows :]. Maybe a few bunk beds would be nice, like Mrs. P and I were talking about in the car, on the way to the gaming house. But like myself, I honestly think none of the Joes really cared much about sleeping on the floor or couches. It was just great to be there.

The pros that were at PvJ are some of the best in the game, It would be cool to see a few others, but I would be perfectly fine with the same pros if and when I attend again. And seeing as how T2 and FiS live in the gaming house, and Totz is literally 5 minutes down the street, it is safe to say that they will be there most every PvJ for sure. And Come on who wouldn't want to play with Roy, Lunch, or Ogre 2?!?!? This is a longshot, but maybe there could be more of a variety if a few more pros attended just to coach the joes in game and out of game, giving tips, pointers, interacting, etc. This could really bring JvP to the optimal experience for everyone.

The weekend was awesome, Only thing i could think of changing is maybe reviewing some gameplay with the Joes and showing them exactly how they could have improved the situation as well as improve their play. Other than that the weekend was great.
