Does anyone ever find themselves wondering why they use emoticons so much? I feel like I'm to the point now if I text my girlfriend without a smiley face then she assumes something is wrong...

I understand and appreciate their use when in fact I am puzzled :? , sad :( , or hesistant :/ , but sometimes I start feeling a few feminish, estrogen producing, qualities when I text my girlfriend "Ill be off around 5:00 pm :) and we can cook spaghetti tonight :) and no you can't wax my chest :)".

This is probably something I should bring up to her but I was just wondering if this affects any other males out there.
