The MLG playlist will be updated with the MLG V3 maps and gametypes, the lineup can be found below. Visit www.majorleaguegaming.com for more info!

Due to the inclusion of more 100% Forged map variants which do not adequately support splitscreen, the MLG playlist now has a Max Local Players count of 1.

Random List of Additional Changes

KOTH now has game variant support for Multiple Teammate Scoring allowing multiple teammates to gain score for their team while in the hill.
All KOTH matchmaking variants now have a hill movement time of 1 minute.
All KOTH matchmaking gametypes now allow equipment use while in the hill (2v2/4v4 gametypes limit equipment to Sprint, Jetpack and Hologram – Armor Lock removed from all KOTH loadouts).
All KOTH matchmaking gametypes now have 1 frag starting grenades.
Added a HUD widget for CTF gametypes which show when your flag is away from home or held by an enemy.
More softkills on Pinnacle, Uncaged, Hemorrhage, Countdown and Asylum.
Modified all default matchmaking map variants to support a static initial hill while playing Crazy Random King.
Slayer game variants in 6v6 playlists are now 75 to win.
3 Ball is now 300 to win.
Replaced Banshees with Falcons in all non-Invasion gametypes on Breakpoint.
Increased Banshee respawn time to 180s on Paradiso.
Decreased the frequency of Bro Slayer and Invasion Skirmish in the Noble Map Pack playlist.
Replaced all Slayer game entries on The Cage with Uncaged in all playlists.
Removed all objective game entries on The Cage in all playlists.
Removed Pinnacle from Team Snipers.
Removed Evade from The Arena and Double Team gametypes.

This also sounds like it will extremely fun to play.

Anyways, I don't think the andriod/(other map here) should be a big problem. I'm just stoked that v3 settings will be up soon and I'll be able to play them. Getting kind of tired of v2! haha.

Bungie wouldn't allow Element or Nexus in if the playlist was splitscreen enabled.

I hope some of you will give Android and Retroactive a bit of play time. They, along with the other non-circuit gametypes are there to help Killa KC and MLG to decide on settings for V4 and beyond. KC still believes these maps/gametypes have potential, so he's offering them up in the playlist so that they'll get some in-depth testing and won't be cast aside on first impressions. Same story for anything you might find in the third voting slot in the future.

Android CTF is FUN. Cant wait to not have to search for people to get customs together to run it. More variety is a good thing IMO.

I really hope it is for MLG. Theres nothing worse than randomly hearing "Flag captured" when you didn't even know they had your flag. They should just go back to the way it was in Halo 3.

Is it one per xbox, or one per IP? That's important. Could you imagine a world where only one person at a time at the gaming house can play matchmaking MLG? Not to mention anyone who has friends over, etc...

Forefront, one per ip has nothing to do with screen lag in forge world lol. Its one per xbox, which wont be a problem at the gaming house.

I personally like that it doesn't always show you on screen when the other team has an objective. You should have to be aware as a team where the objective is. Just adds a little bit more strategy. You can always take a quick spin and see if the objective is idle or not. As for the extra changes, I think they're for Bungie/343 playlists. The MLG playlist is made by MLG so I don't think Bungie really has a say in what goes into it. I mean I'm sure they do, but I don't think they really care as long as KC gets all the work done for them lol.

Exactly my feeling. I feel like they included all of the final test gametypes/maps as well. Zealot KotH, Android (or whatever it's called) Flag (which I actually like A LOT) were just a few that I can remember from today. I would love for them to include Android(?) as a map instead of Nexus....

Second for me. Then again I was with a TO4 so it was easy to win the vote. Felt good to play it in MM, even though we got beat on by a TO3 with a random. I went positive anyway. After I got my required Android game in and DeathstarsOG and Unoverrated got their required Nexus CTF game in, we spent the rest of the night trying to veto for Retroactive, and it never once came up as an option.

If anyone here gets a couple decent games on Android and has thoughts for me, go ahead and let me know in the "MLG Playlist Update Mar 29th (http://thelannetwork.com/forum/showthread.php?2637-MLG-Playlist-Update-Mar-29th)" thread. I've made a few key changes since you guys saw it here at TLN, most significantly opening up the cross-map flag to flag line of sight as well as a few item swaps for budget and aesthetic reasons and a couple minor spawn tweaks.

I'm hoping after people get 2 or 3 games on the map when they've developed some familiarity and can make callouts and pick flag routes and such with some experience, people will be able to form some informed opinions on it and hopefully will like it better than just their first impression.

I've only played on game in the new MLG playlist so far. It was Android CTF. I gotta say I liked it. The only problem I had was that I was carrying my team in the objective department. The map seems to flow pretty well, and I felt it easy to get some help for a teammate... something that some other maps that are in MLG can't do as well.

This... havent been on yet today and didnt even know what this was going on but im pretty excited now:D

Played Android flag twice yesterday. First time we got decked because they were a To4 vs. me, two guys who didn't seem to realise we were playing CTF, and one guy with sheer objective determination, though sadly he didn't even seem to know what flag running was. Second game went much better, won 5-0 but closely fought on every cap, CTF is soooooooo much better without touch return.

A couple of people seemed disoriented by how close you spawn to the enemy base sometimes on the low side streets, a couple of them kept turning around and running back to our base off those spawns simply because they saw a base so close and thought that it couldn't be the enemy one until they saw the flag waypoints. I know it's not actually that close, just seems it I guess, but once they clicked it played really well. Is it just me or are the dimensions noticeably compacted compared to Genome? Perhaps it's just bulkier objects used in the base areas, idk.

I love countdown KoTH, Construct KoTH was my favourite gametype in H3 and it's like countdown plays exactly like it. My other favourite combo is Nexus Flag, although i always drop the flag in the god damn water.... happened four times in one game.

How does the disarm happen? It happened in a game I played, but no one knows how they did it. No one was on the bomb, and the second the other team armed it, it also disarmed.
