Lately ive noticed that i neeed to make some major changes to my game. i suck at halo reach period. well i suck with the DMR. i just hate it and i cant find the rythme to it . + i usually spaz out with my thumbstick and miss alot. does anybody have some tips for me. on how to calm down with the DMR and actually hit my shots.

i normally just spam unless the person is 1 or 2 shot and i need to clean them up. normally works for me

Spam like its your job, get a 5 everytime, While spamming make sure your strafe is as annoying as possible. Go atleast +10 every game. Make sure you live in Canada so you're able to hit your shots but nobody can hit you. Never do objective. When your teammates get mad becuase your not calling out or doing objective just tell them they're bad. Always get kicked out of the party because people are mad that you're better than them.

Try to follow this the best you can and you will start to see a drastic improvement in your game.

yea ive been changing things up as well and found spamming a little more than i did helps until the final head shot. especially if you plan on playing on LAN, i've heard you can spam a decent amount more. of course watching the LAN's here you can kind of see that. just keep changing things up, eventually it will click. also what i've been doing lately is not worrying about what i need to and not to do. just go over my head what my role is before the game starts then just go and play. call out of course lol, but don't worry so much about what needs to be done. kind of go with the flow of the game. i've seen a lot better results since i started doing this.

A popular solution is spam the first 2-3 shots (medium to long distance) then let bloom reset. Close up spam everything or if your way up in a DMR battle let the last shot reset. The best all around is to let every shot reset a little bit so your bloom doesnt go to its maximum size. For the thumbstick issue try aiming with your strafe, or what i did was change the position of my thumb on the stick so that the range of movement was less. Also get into some octagons with people so its only 1v1's. Good luck.

i think you should really focus on your position. if u are always well placed your gonna have the advantage on every dmr battle and also youll be able to team shot and get help

I have the same problem, what worries me is half the time I slow down to get that last head shot the other person keeps spamming and gets lucky with the kill. But I guess that's just how it is on lan.

pace all your shots. if the opponent is spamming and hitting you, just don't freak out and realize that he's not gonna be able to hit the headshot while spamming, and you will likely go red health but will come out on top in most battles.
