I actually did not go to my senior prom. I ended up working that night instead and I'm actually glad I did. My school was pretty terrible at running those type of things and most of the fun happened at the post prom party anyways lol :p

We dont really have Proms in the UK. Because the drinking age here is 18, and most people finish 6th Form/College at 18 there is an understanding between everyone that the last day of school you just go in while drunk and just have a fun last day. I know that's what happened at my College.

I would have liked a prom type of situation, but i would have liked it to be organised by students rather than the faculty. As some school run partys i've been to have been dire.

It was a lot of fun; me and my friends rented a beach house for the weekend and it was one of the more fun times i have ever had.

I went to both my junior and senior year prom. None of my friends wanted to go but I had a girlfriend for a couple years and she really wanted to go so I went to both even though they didn't. And i'm glad I did because I had a really great time both times and it's definately a memory you'll always have... But if you decide not to go it's not like missing the birth of one of your children! haha not the end of the world.

But idk if i want to spend 100$+ to go dance to a crappy cd.

Its worth it i missed out and all my friends had a ball. No matter who you are in your school its worth going to prom

Ehh, I went and actually regret that. I'm sure other schools throw better proms than mine though.
