I know nothing about Royal 2 except that he is a possible Canadian, is 17 or less and stands up very well against the top pros. What can you guys tell me about him and his amazing stats? Is there a Royal 1?

He is Canadian. He lives in Alberta(My teammate has Lanned with him and they r friends IRL) And people were saying he is an online warrior and he just proved them wrong :)

Because he (individually) was destroying.

I was interested in seeing how he would do this weekend because he has been known as a slayer, but only against top AM teams. Thus, I was curious to see what he would do against teams like tD, sQ, Instinct, and DH. Turns out he can still perform even against the best of the best.

Excuse me but they beat SLU in the gayest series possible and everyone's favorite team Darkest Hour, and in the continuation series with Instinct they were 4-3. All of that was on no practice, it took them the whole weekend, but what we saw Sunday was just the beginning of how good tD is.

It may sound like im knocking on Royal 2 but trust me im not trying to. Just saying he isn't this godlike player some of the first posters in this thread made him out to be. Reach is unbelievably teamwork oriented (which is the only reason Instinct wins any games ;)) and I don't think SLU as a team knows how to play with each other yet.

Royal 2 can still be a beast on a bad team. just because he team sucks doesnt make him a bad team player. would you consider heinz a bad team player cause tD sucked it up this weekend as well. Neighbor would be an example of a bad team player this weekend, nit Royal 2.

That's not all that I saw from him. We must not have been watching the same person. Because from what I saw (through my horrible laggy connection, lol), he was playing very well as a team player.

Plus, he averaged the most flag caps and returns on his team.. all while averaging the highest k/d and most assists also. I'm sorry, but he can't do it all, and I think it's a little unfair to ask more from him when his teammates are lower than him in every category.

He's good. It's plain and simple. 3rd on the fantasy list above names such as Enable, Flamesword, and all of tD means you have some kind of talent. 'God-like'? No.

you must not have been watching the same lan. tD will get top 16 but out of luck. honestly completely unimpressed with everyone on that team other than heinz (and sometimes bman). hysteria whines too much and i think its time for sk to hang up the sticks.

Pistola is too good lol (former tD member though ;)) But i still think tD can win because from Thursday to Sunday their teamwork skyrocketed and i can only get better, right now FB is more talented but i still see tD winning the event.

People said the exact same thing before Meadows 09 (myself included) would i bet money on tD winning?... no. Halo is too random. But top 3 is highly likely imo.

I agree with Nik, anybody could sit back and snipe every game. RyaNoob pointed this out in a thread over on the MLG Forums a couple of weeks ago and it is very true. He is a sick player, no doubt. He has alot of raw talent, but he just doesn't know how to be a team player. When he figures out that winning is more fun then getting headshots with the snipe, he'll play on a top level.

The main point is Royal 2 more than belongs on the Pro Circuit. His skill is on par with the majority of pros.

Royal 2 has been underrated for years, he is like a mini Snipedown, he had the potential to go pro in Halo 3 but never got a good team + he is Canadian and it is really expensive to travel to the US etc.

Hes 14 not 17, his bro (Royal1) is 19 and hes a good player too, hes a really good teammate to have, we got 1st at this little mini tournment this weekend. pretty stiff competition..naawt.

I dont see why he is being bashed here, you are basically calling him a stat whore, but he finished 3rd/4th (cant remember where) on the fantasy stats. Royal 2 had a sick H3 snipe. I never knew who he was until he teamed with TalenT on Young Money. The only reason I knew about him the because my friend coached them. He become well known after that event

He means they would lose only 6-5 in most of the series they lost with many games coming down to game 11.
