Official MLG Black Ops Discussion Thread

The TLN community is basically all Reach players/fans (I am too!) but after recently watching a lot of PCOQ matches for Black Ops, I realized that this game is super fun to watch! I think it is going to be a great game on the circuit this year. (PCOQ = Pro Circuit Online Qualifier)

So discuss anything MLG Black Ops related. To start it off, let's talk about some top teams. Optic has my vote as the best team out there right now. What do you guys think?

Just because they are first in the ladder does not mean they are the best haha. They just took over first like 1 hour ago. The new Leverage squad with Stainville, Hastro, TeePee and Aches is already an amazing team. Give them some time to game together and they will be extremely good.

Beef, they just won 28 in a row! Hahaha trust me they are the best team out there right now. After picking up JKap, who is the best player out there in my opinion, they have a ridiculous record.

How do you play MLG in Black Ops? I mean Reach has a section you go too. Were do you find MLG matches?

It's hard to go against Optic with the way they've been playing since adding JKap, Ddefinitely wanna see Leverage do well in Dallas though. Stain and Stro are both pretty cool guys so I want to see them place well.

P.S. I have Black Ops on 360 but don't really play anymore unless my brother in law wants to destroy bots in Combat Training.

JKap was super sick at MW2, if hes of the same standard on BO i think whatver team he is on will be scary. I don't really know the teams or that who will be playing as of yet but plan to find out closer to the event. Personally wanting ego nV's team to win as i watch his stream on jtv quite alot lol. MLG has its most promising year coming up by far, with Halo being as big as it is in the community, then BO and finally the biggest game around the world basically in SC2. Gonna be a good year =)

Agreed! And JKap is even better at this game. He has great communication, knows how to setup, and his gun skill is absoultely incredible. I don't think I have seen him go negative yet in the PCOQ. He is a monster. Also, Optic is now #1

I'm not really into the competitive blops community but I remember when it first launched treyarch was having lots of problems with the ps3 servers, and from what I can tell a lot of people are only recently switching from the 360 because of MLGs choice.

Hahaha you couldn't be any farther from the truth ;)

Sony payed MLG $250,000 to have Black Ops be played on PS3. No soruce. I will find one.

Also guys, Proofy left Fear, Hastro and StainV left LvG. There are some crazy things going down.
