If anyone has a good strategy/technique (when to spam or slow down your shots) of using the DMR efficiently from every range (short/mid/long), could please share them here:
~ Thank you :)

This thread has been made, and I will lock it later when I'm out of class, but if you mean on XBL, it depends on connection. XBL is a contest of whose spam works better. Generally, if you spam the first 4 shots, and time the last it works. If you do spam, aim for the chest, or over the head. Experience will help you decide what works though.

If you have host, Then spam. If you dont have host, pace your shots. On Lan, Almost always spam. Simple as that.
Always keep ur target in your crosshair and you should use your target so that the edges of the crosshair are touching your target. this is really confusing, but watch some pro gameplay for more tips

Usually I spam first three, then let the bloom come back for the last two. It works well, but I also pull host all the time haha.

I crouch at long range so I open my chance to drop the enemy before they can get away. :P

So the sides of your aimer has to be touching them? or the whole crosshair has to be on them?

When the bloom expands, it generally will not hit the middle of the crosshairs. So, if the edges are touching the body, it will more than likely hit the target.

Got to agree, in a perfect situation, bloom does not effect bullet magnetism until the inner circle meets or is outside of the outer circle, from what I have noticed at least.
It is best to shoot in bursts of 3 at Close/Medium range, shoot 3 let it reset. Usually if you are on a host that you find preferable after you have shot 3, then let it reset and shoot twice more but quicker.
A safer bet is to just consistently shoot in 3's, in a gun fight one more bullet isn't worth saving, so if you have doubts whether you'll get the headshot on the 5th shot you can either let it reset completely for reassurance or round out the 5th and 6th shot, so you have completed two bursts of 3.
Hope this helps, these are things I have noticed I don't proclaim they will suit everyone, but it seems to work better than just spamming erratically.
