The MLG dream

He was more nervous than ever, as he stood backstage. He could feel the sweat in his palms, and hoped it wouldn't affect his performance. He could hear the crowd, and felt tense as he breathed deeply to calm his nerves. He knew it was time. He knew that everything he had done; all the hours of practice, all the study of gameplay, all the dedication he forced himself to show for the last few months, all accumulated here. At this moment. He heard a familiar voice as the MC began to speak. He could feel the anxiety welling up inside him, but pushed it back with another breath. He was ready. He followed his teammates on stage as he heard his tag announced. It was the identity he would assume for however long he remained at this place. At the top. The stadium cheered, packed full to the brim with tens of thousands of screaming fans. He was nineteen years old, and had already achieved so much. This however, was the pinnacle. This, was his dream.

Haha, I was a fiction writer before, so this was kind of fun. It's not meant to be serious, just a what-if for MLG and a way for me to get this idea out of my head. Hope you guys find it entertaining!

Ok :) well my dream actually is just to win placing top 8 would be great what sucks and I don't mean to brag is that I know I can I just need 3 others who feel the same way :) (without attitude problems)

You know something I just realized? I wish somebody would make a short little advertisement like this. Like using the MLG Main Stage and everything if possible. Sorta like a commercial for MLG shot in first person coming out from under that tunnel with everyone cheering... Probably won't happen but it's a pretty awesome thought... :)

Yeah. Kind of like that AMP'd commercial? When the UFC Fighter is getting ready to go into the ring and fight. Then the bell rings and BAM it's over.

Actually yes almost exactly like that just from like a first-person view instead of someone watching them. Like some clips of a team practicing on at a station with 4 Viewsonics then getting ready to come out like I mentioned before and be able to see the "Championship Sunday" graphics on the screens. I just think that would be pretty badass. Gives me chills just thinking about making something like that. Because I get such a rush even just being in the stands I can't imagine what it's like to come out to everyone cheering :)
