Black Ops Off Topic Discussion Thread

This is just to continue Canadian Gym's idea of a +1 thread for one of my favorite video games, Black Ops. After Candian made the Starcraft +1 thread i was dissapointed because SC is a game I dont play. However, I know that many people besides me play and love Black Ops. You all know what to do, instead of creating a pointless thread about Black Ops, just post here instead. Heres some examples

-1 For my friend stealing my Black ops disc :(

Idk I kinda agree. I see the reasoning behind not having a +1 thread for every single game out there. I mean this is an MLG community though and in MLG Black ops has just as much a community as SC2 does so Idk.

But maybe we could have a forum section for this game since it is in MLG, even though I only play zombies on xbox.

Kinda excited to see this on the circuit this year. I wonder how many PS3s have been sold to XBox CoD players making the transition so they can compete.

I would if I had a CoD game anymore. I sold 4 and MW2, never bought WoW or Black Ops. I might though when it gets really cheap in a couple months.

:( I only play it with 3 of my good friends who know who know the maps, that's the only way it's fun for me i guess.

Krillin, when and if you get around to buying it, just get BlOps, best zombies by far :)

I'm going to try to address this at least partially throughout this post. I will most likely attempt to make more detailed post at a later date. Finals have me crunched for time right now.

In order to promote legitimate discussion / posts about the various games these threads will inevitably be created for, I have changed this to the Black Ops Off Topic Discussion Thread. After another Mod (who will remain nameless at this point because I am willing to take any flak for this) and I discussed this for awhile, we decided I should go through and cleanup the posts in this thread and the SC2 +1 thread that obviously have nothing to do with those games. The point of the Starcraft 2 +1 thread was for discussion on SC2 related content that didn't really belong anywhere else. That thread will also be changed in name and will be watched along with this one to remove (or move the the +1 thread) any completely irrelevant posts.

I am sure that if the same amount of interest was generated in this that was generated in Starcraft 2, that a subforum would be created to house any Black Ops related discussion.

I hope this has addressed any questions you had, but if not I would be more than happy to discuss this more over AIM or PMs (or if I get to it, its own thread).

I make changes happen people! JK. So, is Infinity Ward hard at work on next year's game? That's going to be the only thing that kind of stinks about having CoD on the circuit as opposed to SC2 and Reach. It seems that the pros will have one season to shine with a game before a new one comes out.

My friend challenged me to a 1v1 on Black Ops, i 20-3'd him :)
