Here is Zola's Legacy (Community) Montage. This is by far one of the best montages I have EVER seen. I don't even care it's not all MLG.

Zola pulling out all the stops once again - Remember when the Str8 tage came out and everyone said it was the best editing they have seen?

I think we have just seen a step up in Montage editing.

I also really love the fact that the Non MLG clips are a real step up from the MLG ones. Eg, the Kiltac Quickscope on the Mancannoning Dino, if that was submitted to any top 10 i could see it being placed top 3 easily. I didnt see a single clip in that montage that i would consider 'Filler' meterial.

Completely agree. I had heard good things about it before it was released but holy cow Zola seems to always just be above and beyond what we consider great...

Yup he really is a great editor! I hope we continue to see more and more things being tried with editing. Who knows somebody could basically make a short film from Halo clips! :p And yea I loved every second of it, even the non-MLG clips (which is unusual for me!) :)

At first it was really hard to believe this was a community montage. Really really good editing I felt like i was watching a movie almost the whole time 5/5 for sure.

Recently I haven't been in the mood for Halo AT all. This montage just woke me up, and got me wanting to play. I wouldn't have gotten on at all today if it wasn't for this video. Thank you for posting this :)

I know, I got on today but we didn't have enough people for customs. So we just messed around in matchmaking. I'll try my best to get on for some customs this weekend :)

The intro to this tage is by far and away the best intro in any montage.
Watched his 50 minute video log of this and it shows in his project folders just how much effort he put into this, i think the final folder size of Legacy was around 64GB.

Possibly the best way to say goodbye to Halo 3. IMO this is by far the best community montage.

I can't imagine how long it took to get the shot of Ruined Construct in the intro but that was incredible.

I dont suppose anyone has seen the making of documentary from Zola? All the videos are about 45 mins to watch and they are shot from march 21st to September 4th he shows you his thought processes, all his editing tools and gives you a look inside his world while editing a video.
