i have figured that i'm a decent player mid game, but as of recently i keep getting rushed within the first 3-6min into the game, i usually only have maybe 1 zealot, but they come at me with 3-5 enemies, usually marines/zerglings. How can i defend against this better?

What is your usual build? I usually go for 3 gateways early and that helps to get me another zealot or two to help defend against early pressure. If that's not something like what you go for then you need to deal with it differently. Also are you blocking/narrowing the entrance or ramp into your base? If not, that will buy you sometime as well. I haven't played SC in a while but that was just somethings off the top of my head.

the easiest thing to do would be to wall of ur ramp with a pylon cyber core and Gate, but if u dont like walling in partially block the ramp where the only way to get in is very small andput one zealot in hold position and while they try to kill it make a stalker and then u can basically continue with ur normal build. May have to change a few things if the enemy tries something really odd, but other than that u should be able to stick to ur normal build and then the opponent is at a very economic disadvantage and u will most likely win easily. Im a Terran player but i basically do the same thing and have seen many protosses do this.

Wall in against zerg. Don't against anyone else. And if you don't see terran have gas when you scout expect early pressure or them to expand. If you see really early gas against zerg expect early speedlings = early pressure. If you see the early pressure make sure you either chrono out some units or wg

thanks for the help i usually try to get early 3 gate to wg, then just get broad coverage with maybe 2-3 immortals mid game with some air control.

Immortals aren't the hottest unit to use against Zerglings or Marines as they attack at a decent speed. Zealots destroy both of those units. You just have to make sure to have a decent stalker count as well to harras their shorter range units with while your zealots deal most of the damage.
