Hello everyone! I've kinda ignored this section since, not on purpose, just been busy and haven't been on TLN that much this past month due to being really busy at work and school.
I am 25 and live in Brunswick, GA. Lived here majority of my life. Always been a kept to myself kinda person and never really knew where I would fit in since I changed schools a lot (being bad, expelled for fighting usually). So, naturally growing up it was really tough going through High School and trying to fit in. But, I finally found my calling in the 11th grade when I realized and I naturally musically talented and found a group of I guess I could jam with. We play post hardcore music and yes I thought we could've gotten big if some of the band members weren't so immature. My final show with the band back in 05, we played at the Taste of Chaos Tour in Jacksonville, FL, where Paramore just got signed in Orlando the night before and were looking to pick us up, but immaturity got the best of some the members.
Anyway life moved on and I decided to join the Air National Guard and life has sped by so fast since then. Been deployed a couple of times, gotten married in 06' and have 2 boys. I am big family man, family first is how I live my life. With that kinda support you can make through the most difficult times. My oldest boy will turn 3 next week and I am so excited. I love watching them grow up.
Onward to the gaming part :). I joined TLN back in November, kinda a lurker for awhile during season 10'. But finally made a decision the sometime in the next year or two I want to compete at an MLG event. Being 25 and never done anything in that nature is kinda nerve racking. All these younger kids can whoop up, til I found SaLot and realized he was over 30 and destroying me as well. Then I started thinking I must really suck. Well, Eddie has helped me to improve my gameplay tremendously, but he can still go positive over me 1v1 battle. I think when I can truly beat him over and over in 1v1 battles then it might be time to go to an event and give my best shot.
Other than that I believe once you get to know me I not that bad of a person, just give me a shout out or F/R, I am always up for playing some customs.
Shout outs
-Homeboy Salot - my mentor or brother from another mother
-iUndrground - for getting me interested in the TLN map quest contest and hanging out here at TLN
-All the forgers out there that have helped me develop and guide me in my map making (Bleuprint, aPK, Secret, Uno, and many more)
-And everyone else that invites me to custom even though I suck (Toolbox, Broski, Luke, and other TLN members!)
You guys are the Best and Hope to see you around sometime!
oh ps: Thanks Mr. P for creating this awesome community for us Gamers to have somewhere to hang out :D
