Howdy y'all, SecretSchnitzel here. I'm not too sure how to go about this, so I'll just say a little about myself and my background.
Name: Tyler Schmitt
Age: 24
Occupation: Student (formerly USMC)
I've been a long time fan of Halo, been playing it since Halo:CE. Originally I'd always bash the fanboys in my highschool over Halo and preach how Metroid Prime was better... And then I played it and fell in love. I even went to the midnight release of H2 and played it well into the hours of the morning.
In 2006 I enlisted in the Marine Corps and left video gaming behind... It wasn't until I was stationed in Japan that I got back into Halo. I enjoyed many a night kicking back in my barracks room, dip in lip and spitter nearby fragging out for hours. I even pre-ordered H3, the edition that came with the helmet case thingy... Eventually I had to give up gaming again as I moved on to Embassy Security Duty and had no free time for my past passions.
I spent two years Halo free, but when my contract was nearing expiration and I returned to the states for out processing I returned to Halo as well. It was at this time that I got into MLG and fell back in love with Halo. It became an obsession with me... Until I moved to Austria for college. lol. I only recently picked Halo back up again with Halo Reach as its a cheaper activity to do in my free time than partying. :P
I have a love for building things and as a result spend many hours in forge. I've managed to release a few fairly popular maps in Reach so far, most notably Select which was featured at MLG earlier this year.
In regards to the "Boat Rocker" title, this comes from my tendency to speak out against corruption and unfair practices. My tendency to speak out resulted in a ban at one time on Forge Hub and recently a temporary ban at MLG for accusations against TaK. :P
My other hobbies outside of Halo and forging are lifting weights, body building, and modeling. I also have a soft spot for the night life and house music.
Looking forward to becoming more active in this community. As of so far, having been here a few months, it strikes me as being the most open and friendly community I've seen around yet.
