Membership Confusion

My 2 month trial membership just ran out, and I want to get premium membership. When I try to upgrade my membership, I am only allowed to upgrade to the stream pass for $10.99 and that is only good for about 4 days or so. Am I missing something? I really do not want to pay that much just to watch this lan...

Take a look at this post (http://twitter.com/#!/TheLANnetwork/status/45620309382021122). There is no explanation as of right now on why no monthly passes are being offered. I imagine it will be addressed sometime after the Dallas event.

There are only stream passes now. No 2 month or 1 year unless you already were in the middle of one and if so that will be honoured.

Sorry but at this point there will be no more new Premium members. Due to the fact that many people would jockey the system and buy a Premium account and when the month is over they would cancel. This will not affect people who have Premium memberships they are grandfathered in. Sorry guys just a little upset with people taking advantage !!

Mr.P, I think if you were to ever bring back the monthly pass that it would be a good idea to you raise the price. I know i would continue to pay!

I loved having the 2 month pass. This meant in between LANs I could watch whoever was at TLN. Now I'm in between paying 11 dollars for a stream pass for 4 days and just skipping it and watching pros on JTV.

I tried sending you a message Mr. P but your inbox was full.
I got an email saying 'Thanks for buying a stream pass' (I never bought a stream pass)
I then log back on to TLN and it's cancelled my premium membership. (I've been a premium member since June/July 2010).
Any reason why this has happened?

11 Dollars for a weekend? That's more expensive than an HD pass for MLG.

Wouldn't an easy solution be just to ban the users who are taking advantage?

Well 11 may seem like alot, but you are getting WAY more games here than anywhere else. MLG gives u way less than that in 3 days.
