Giving a bit back to TLN community.

Hey, I was just killing some time looking at some of the forums and saw how helpful this community is toward its members. We have a good thing going here guys and gals so lets keep it up :) . And this breezy weather has just gotten me into a fantastic mood as of late. But let me cut to the chase, I currently in my hand...well it's actually on my TV stand have an XBL 3 Month card. And I totally dont want it. The last thing I want to do is give it to a pro for a spot on his Friends List :p . So just post here and let me know why you, or someone else you know is deserving of it. It can be for any reason.

I think it would be a good ideal to hold an online FFA tournament to determine the winner. ;)

However, I honestly don't 'deserve' it. Can't wait to hear peoples' reasons.

Make it a "TLN Customs" tag. That, or give it to heuer or impended under the condition that they will make the customs tag. I can do it, but I didn't want to suggest myself.

Yeah I wasnt too sure where to post this lol but I figured one of you guys would put it where its gotta go. But yeah I can not wait to see what people have to say. Depending how this one turns out I'd definetly like to do a little something extra for Reach.

This is a good ideal. However, this is meant for someone who deserves it, so let's see who responds and who's the most deserving first.

I feel cheesy for posting this but hey, it may get the ball rolling on others posting their reasons :).

I'd love to have the free 3 month as I've always liked to help my friends who are in college with new gamertags/xbl memberships just so they could play with me but I never ask for anything in return. I have a better job than my friends so it makes it a little easier to afford paying for extra subscriptions, especially since they are all in college and hardly have the time to work even. Just recently I gave 2 of my 3 free months subscriptions on my new console to 2 of my friends, paid for anothers 1 month, and also have paid for a few friends to have multiple months of xbox live just so we could play online together. On Tuesday I'll be buying 2 copies of Halo Reach just so my friend can play with us the day it launches since he doesn't have the money to spend and I was hoping to start a new "TLN Itchy" account for Reach so I can represent this community, if I have enough money after paying bills. I guess you could say I like to "give" without asking for any return except having fun and making memories (thats what life is about IMO).

Itchy has my vote. I am one of the friends he bought an account for. He consistently hosts LANS at his house, he streams all the events whether they be MLG or TLN on the TV at his house and he consistently spends money to make everyones halo experience the best it can be. He also fixes RROD for free to us. He never asks for anything in return. Itchy is as classy a guy as you are gonna meet. If there is anyone out there who deserves it, It's him.

Alrighty due to a last minute circumstance I am gonna give away the 3 Month now. Sorry for those who may have been in the process of writing an epic tale. I need to point out that everyone that sent me messages over TLN and XBL was very cool and was suprised to see how many people were not actually nominating themselves but someone they knew that actually deserved it for whatever reason. It was awesome to see the kindness first hand. So ITCHY congrats man you were the first to post in and it was definetly hard not to keep going back to your story.

This was a very cool experience guys and I hope to do it again sooner than later.

When I got off work and saw this, I immediately jumped up and down with joy! shrEd I can't say thanks enough for this, if and when there becomes a time for me to give back to either you or the community you can count on it. Let me know if there is anything I could do in return.

By the way thanks to shrEd I'll have a new gamertag since the ones in my signature right now are old/out of time. It will be "TLN Itchy" unless its not available lol.
