Team Classic Playlist

Anyone else really enjoying this playlist. Most of the remakes are pretty solid I'm finding. I haven't played them all yet but Eclipse(Lockout), Noble Creek(Battle/Beaver Creek), Dreadnaught(Derelict), and Magus(Wizard/Warlock) are all faithful reconstructions. The only one I don't really like is Prophet(Midship/Heretic), but it's not terrible. I haven't tried the rest. Now only if 343 studios would do an actual remake of some of these instead of forcing us to rely on forge world my life would be complete.

this playlist is amazing. i think the hang 'em high is ok, it's too gray and laggy though. the only problem with the playlist is that i just played a game where i got 21 kills, and my team's total was 30. i had 2 neg 13s on my team. other than that, it's really awesome, and the remakes are great.

Well thats not really the playlists fault, thats Bungie's ranking system (or lack there of).

Can someone make a list of all of the remakes? Or are the ones mentioned in the OP all of them?

On 110% Damage the NR beats the DMR. I usually use NR as my main and have the DMR for close range battles

I mean at all ranges, even paced, Dmr doesnt seem to be landing shots.

Either way, NR does dominate the playlist. Also, I love going like 13 games with no AR starts, it was amazing.

my main complaints are AR starts and getting naderaped. also, some kids who are playing it are just awful
but all in all, great remakes, fun settings: top 2 playlists in reach

I've been getting too much Eclipse. Yes, Lockout was fun, but Eclipse seems to get old faster in Reach.
Really like Prolonged though. Elongation is a map that I really forgot I loved so much.

i agree. i was saying some of these maps need to find their way into MLG. half of them were MLG at one point anyway. very solid remakes.

Ew DMR starts no way. The NR is the far superior weapon at 110%, the game just plays so much faster now that I'm actually having legit fun again. No radar would make it a lot better though, the spawns suck something fierce on Prophet and a load of the other maps, but it is a bungie playlist so what do you expect.

Loving the Playlist, i recently got incredibly bored of Reach. Even to the point where i was considering packing in Halo all together. MLG isn't the same, Offhost in the UK the game is horrible. But these maps(For the most part) are the maps i loved in H3.

Will probs keep playing this playlist exclusively.

The only problem I have is that not all the remakes give off anywhere near the same vibe as the originals did. Again, I think Prolonged is the only one that does.

I hope so, NR battles defiantly take more skill and are less random then DMR battles. After playing Classic and going to MLG Playlist I became Very frustrated with the DMR when I would pace and lose to spammers, I actually found my self using the NR a little more on playlist.

yea i was in a party with toolboxx, smallz and deep and they all agree that they have to listen and V4 is usally epic

i just started giving this a chance and i have to say i really enjoy it, feels a lot like halo 2 to me... the maps are great, the gameplay is great.... it's feels good. what do you guys think about this playlist and do you think mlg should adapt any of it's settings? the gravity to me seemed like something i felt was a big improvement but i don't know how it would feel on the reach maps/settings.

it seems to run so much smoother than any other playlist like everything seems to register better i still play MLG playlist tho.

I tried this out expecting them to play horribly, and be bad remakes...but I was happily corrected. MLG should definitely import some of the settings seen in this playlist (player traits)

A little slippery because of the 120% movement speed, but over all a great playlist.
