So i got beat by flat out modders yesterday.

I played all throughout the H2 days with all the modding that went on (especially lvl 35 and up). When H3 came out I was under the impression that people could not mod in it. My assumption had held up throughout the entire life of H3 until yesterday when I started a MLG Flag game on Narrows, The game started and within 5 seconds our flag was pulled. Obviously we were a little shocked but we just assumed lag. At that point we see a guy jump from our objective side back to his as if he were shot from a man-cannon. Needless to say they just kept jumping back and forth and capped 3 flags in just over a minute.

Have any of you ever been modded in H3 before? Have i just been naive this entire time?

Practicing with Elamite and Lunchbox before Raleigh we got modded in a Guardian Ball game and ended up almost winning, we had the lead but the guy grabbed the ball and was able to somehow stay up in the air after jumping off the map and going underneath bottom green :( we lost by like 40 seconds, besides that though I've never been modded

Well, I guess modding being confined to the last few weeks of H3's relevance is a step up from the situation that plagued H2. Now if they could just get network manipulation relatively under control we would be in good shape. And Towey, that is really a sad commentary on how bad modders actually are at the game if they can only win a ball game by 40 seconds while modding, playing against pro's or not. Bravo to you guys.

Luckily since I'm a scrub I haven't run into modders yet... just network manipulation :p

Yah, I saved the film. My POV's pretty good too. You watch one guy man cannon on the correct side, then one guy on the other.

there have been games where the modders actually started changing the mods to counter what we were doing.. we would kill ourselves with grenades to keep the lead, they would turn off grenade damage.. we would start jumping off, they would turn off fall/guardian damage

it was the stupidest game i have ever played
