One of my favorite days of the year. I'm a huge Reds fan but yet to go to an Opening Day because tickets are ridiculously hard to come across. I'll be at Opening Night Saturday though. NL Central is going to be tight this season.

I gotcha.
But, seriously, Tigers are sucking something awful, and Jason Werth looks like a decent pick-up.

Lowe pitches 5 2/3 solid innings strikes out 6, Heyward homers on his first at bat for the second year in the row, Chipper goes 2 for 4, and the bullpen was terrific with Kimbrel and Venters. A near perfect start of the season for the Braves :D.

I'm really excited about this season, I have a feeling McClouth is going to do well (shake off an 0fer performance today), Uggla has to do well considering the money were giving him and our rotation is IMO top 3-4 in all of baseball.
I really think this season is going to come down to staying healthy and trying to take at least 1 game per series from the Phillies rotation this season. We can't get swept!

I think the offense is going to come down to Mclouth bouncing back and Freeman putting up solid numbers. I prefer to see Heyward hit 2nd rather than Mclouth, the more at bats we get out of him the better. If Jurrjens can perform like he did in '09 I'd say that the Brave's rotation is on par with the Giant's and almost as good as the Phillies. Like you said if the Braves can remain healthy, they have no depth offensively, I think they can win the East.

Eh, we'll see how well they debut against Halladay. Cards looked alright today. Those extra innings are a little bit of a let-down against a team like the Padres.
Also, trivia time: Best W/L in Phillies Stadium last year?

Pretty nice win for the Reds. I was on my way to work during the 9th. I got so excited I ended up punching my steering wheel and blowing my horn.
