So, I am thinking of recording my gameplay/clips myself, problem is I use VGA and I see that all the PVRs use standard A/V cables, or HDMI through PbY/Yb/Y whatever. So I wanted to know if anyone could help me out on finding converters? Please and thank you :D

use HDMI? if you get the Black Magic Intensity you can use HDMI and it will allow you to stream, and record.

Is your monitor only VGA or something? If it isn't just VGA and has HDMI port, why not just buy a HDMI cable and Black Magic intensity? Or if you only have a component input, buy the HD PVR and a component cable. Also you would be playing in a higher resolution with HDMI opposed to VGA.
If there is something prohibiting you from doing this, state it and then maybe we can help you find an alternative option.

Well, I have the New Asus monitor so it has HDMI, but thing is I don't have a USB 3.0 port. So black magic is out of the question, but... I would seriously love it if I could find a converter, if not. Does HDMI and VGA have the same attributes? Oh, and anyone know of computers with 3.0 USB ports?
