So I'm planning to buy some gear and I wasn't sure what to get. I was thinking about gunnars but I don't think that they are really necessary so I'm trying to decide between turtle beaches , tritons, or astros. I'm broke because I don't work but I could probably farm up some money online so which of the three is best. I was going between the astros and the tritons but I'm not sure. If you have an opinion could you give me an estimate of the price of the one you thinks best hopefully the price is around 150$.

well astros are more expensive then 150$. Take it from me (i have gunnars) not worth the money for gunnars. Buy tritons, then just get a y adapter

decent pair of trittons are 130 + tax. the y adapter is if you want to use an astro mix amp in the future. you can find that adapter on astro's website.

Mix amps are for... ? I saw the price of Heuers used mix amp and the price was high so I doubt I will be buying one.

Save more money, get either A40's or PC350/360's with the Astro Mixamp.

I'd say get what u can with ur budget, dont over due it and buy piece per piece

I would say to save a bit and wait to get A40's and a Mixamp. It will cost you 250 but its worth it. If you went PC360's its going to run you about 300. Steggy ranked the Astro's above them in his latest review anyway. But thats just my opinion. Trittons are still solid. Oh and I forgot you can get Turtle Beach HPX's and a mixamp. HPX's are about 80 new and then get a used mixamp for around 100 and your good to go. The HPX's are better then the Trittons.
