Let me just start off by saying, I am sure there is an extremely easy answer to this, but I currently play Reach on a zenith tv that was made in 1994 (before I was born), so this whole monitor thing is a mystery to me. My monitor came in the mail today and as I started setting it up, I realized that there is no place for me to plug in the yellow, red, and white cables :/
Like i said, I am just absolutely clueless so I really need your guys help, and i am sure I will feel pretty stupid once you guys give me the obvious answer :)
Thanks.

You can buy a VGA cable made by Xbox or you can buy or use any HDMI cable you have in your house.

But doesn't this create a problem with the astros? And where is an hdmi port on the xbox?

never trust the 3 dollar ones, they are not made by microsoft, and they will give you terrible picture quality, double image, and a lot of latency. this happened to my friend.

I feel you. My tv sucks ass that I play on. I'm gonna get a monitor soon. I hope it helps my gameplay because there's a point where you just can't improve anymore playing on a garbage setup.

Personally, I would purchase the Microsoft VGA cable at a local store. It should have a TOSlink plug in for the Astros.

PS: I am a fan of the grey Microsoft VGA cables. I have gotten the version in the past where the cables were black instead of grey - for some odd reason they wouldn't work with my slim.
