The Lan Network Summer League

So this is going to be interesting. My plan is to hold a tournament every 2-4 weeks, depending on size, and how quickly we can get things done.

How this Works.

People Will sign up, and we will have a date at which the players list is locked. From there players only on that list can be on a team, so get your friends to join if you want to make a team. AS for the rest of the F/A you can either PM me if you would like to be a captain, and Draft the rest of the F/A list. From there we will do pool play to set the FIRST bracket. After that bracket play as usual.

Since this is a league though there will be continuing tournaments, and teams may stay the same, or have player movements. And don't worry if you were not able to play in the first event you can sign up for the next one, yet you will have no points. Hope for this to be fun, and to make some teams from TLN.

Requirements
1. User must have a minimum post count of 100 (to prevent from people seeing this an signing up just to no-show)
2. Must be able to play from 12pm EST - 12am EST (times may vary depending on other stuff)
3. Post must consist of your Gamertag

Quick rules
1. Settings are MLG settings.
2. If there are extra people that are not able to join they will be substitutes. Substitutes will be shown on the roster before the first round so there is no confusion.
3. Teams will be assigned times to play their matches if the match can not be played at the stated time a request is needed to be sent in as a message to me on the forums, and we will figure something out.
4. No cheating please, if there is any suspicion of cheating your team will not be able to move on to the next round until everything is figured out.

If you have a team that you want to join, then have your teammates join so you can sign them up, but they need to get near the minimum post count before the roster lock.

I am down. I think a league would be more effective with set game times and spread out over a longer period of time. Just like you're talking about Eclipse so this seems like a kick ass idea.

Big ups to you man for trying to organize this.

Everyone else: don't sign up if you're not going to play. Seriously think about how much time you have and when you're available and if you can't play, you can't play. It's that easy. It's different from a customs list in that you will have an obligation to show up.
