Okay guys, I know that everyone has read the posts recently by... well... mostly everyone. There is a lot of negativity floating around since Dallas 2011. This negativity is exactly what this community wanted to prevent, and we seem to have been unable to do so.

Well, FUCK THAT!!!!!!!! Is everyone really just going to give up on what's here? I for one don't plan on it. I certainly wish I had the capital to continue TLN on my own, but I do not. Mr. P, I know that whatever happened must be an extremely heavy issue, but please take time to think about how much your family has loved MLG and the people that aren't jerks that support and look up to you. I know you wish to protect your family, and I respect that more than you can know. Therefor, if you wish to put TLN to rest, I ask that everyone remembers it as a place where you could meet friends, even if you never met them in real life. I will never forget those of you that I have met, and I will continue to be a part of this community and represent it for as long as I can.

He was right when he said we'd miss the Pennacchios more than they'd miss us. I don't doubt that at all. I ask you though, support TLN as long as you can, and if they do leave, treat them with respect. They more than deserve it. Please, if you have nothing positive to post, then just don't post.

Like I said, I only registered today but have been a regular visitor right from the start, simply because the level of discourse here is several notches above the playground atmosphere of that other site and it'd be sad to see TLN fold because of one stupid (and let's not forget, purely subjective) issue that's got way out of hand.

Its a bump in the road. Later down the line overcoming this slight hiccup should fill us all with a sense of accomplishment.

Although I think the post was mainly directed at people in the MLG, I felt a little hurt that it seemed to be directed towards everyone as a whole. Most of the people aggregating Mr. P have a low post count, not to say it validates that their opinions mean nothing. I just think it reflects a persons personality when a thread of that type brings out those people.

They should not be taken seriously as they do not have as much invested in TLN as the majority of community members do. Do I think it could of been handled better? Of course. However individuality should be cherished, Mr. P has to be doing something right or else he wouldn't be where he is at today.

I couldn't agree more i cant stand haters! i left the MLG site becuase of that reason. When i came here there was no hate, Every one got along fairly well if not they kept it betwen them selfs. If this site goes down im done. I cant stand going back to the MLG site or even Gamebattles. So Mr.P please dont shut down the site. If you need to bring the Ban hammer down on the haters and trolls.

Yeah, but spectators have every right to critique players gameplay or attitude, when they bring family into it they are indeed going too far. Not every player is gonna be loved by the spectators, take Clutch and Hysteria for example. Alot of spectators HATE Clutch and Hysteria, but they just ignore it or use it to prove people wrong, and thats what Totz should just do. The long rant made everything 10 times worse.

I think the appropriate action would have been to post that in the other thread, close it, and leave it at that. Not close the other thread, make this one, and then leave it open so people can dwell on it more. Quickest way to move past this mess.

I think about it this way.. Totz is a pro most of aren't. He obviously had do to something on the way to being a professional gamer to get to that status and be able to maintain it. He did not always have his dad have a set up in their basement or any of that stuff.I find that people are close minded and possibly jealous of totz and how well his family is doing (Financially wise and all being very nice people and bringing open arms to anyone in the MLG Community). All I am going to say to people that are talking crap about Totz is are you pro? Didn't think so.

Edit: Think about it we wouldn't be able to follow the pros like we have been able to without the Pennacchio's help. We wouldn't be able to LAN with them like we do now in PvJ people need to think about what Totz and the Pennacchio's have done for this community before they say something bad.
