I saw he tweeted this and him, Flame, and Enable were talking about it on there so I decided to read it. It's definitely worth the time for everyone.

Also, I don't remember watching this round so if anyone has any further information on it, I would enjoy to hear it from someone not playing in the game.

Good read. He's a smart kid. I don't understand how it's not an instant replay of the match?

I think the just overlooked it and the ref was scared to stop it, I think in the future if they prove the only way this glitch can happen is to beat someone down in the lift we can either forge another grav lift in the top that makes sure you get pushed out, or if you get stuck its your fault. Basically i dont think they can do an instant replay rule if you have opportunities to do it on purpose when your losing.

snipedown is like the unluckiest player ever. i always remember him getting sniper bloodshots and stuff at tournaments or lans, and now this. i've never seen someone get stuck in the tri-lift b4. i bet bungie can patch it.
is there any VOD from that match? i would like to see it

sQ was the better team at Dallas so i just feel that they probably couldve won that game still.

well regardless of how we all feel the facts are that the game didnt work like we expected it to and it forced the outcome of the game, and based on the fact that it was tied 4-4 It was really too close to say sq would have won regardless

I did not know that happened, that is SO FUNNY, it sucks that it happened, but its still hilarious.

We need to drop Reach and release the Halo CE remake right now. Glitches like this were unheard of in Halo CE

Did not deserve a replay. It's basically like getting a bloodshot, there are "What if's". Eric is the man though, good blog.

I don't think being physically unable to move your spartan for however long it was is comparable to a bloodshot, at all. Agreed though, can't really call a replay for that.

I was comparing them because of the fact that both could "change" the outcome of a game. I see where you're coming from though.

I remember watching this match. This was a really good read. I can't wait to see how they play at the next event.

So if Snipedown was stuck in the lift for a good at least 15 seconds, is that fair? 15 seconds could be the difference between being in an impossible position, to being in perfect position to stop a flag.
I don't know how long he really was stuck, but I don't think it's fair to assume that he should've known about the glitch. Sounds like he acted on instinct trying to kill a player as fast as he could.

Is there any VoD released from this match? If so, I'll post my new opinion after seeing it.

@enable
I am in no way pretending I know how it went down, I'm just saying that if it was the scenario I explained above, it definitely deserved a replay at that time. Definitely not now that everyone knows.

Very good read, Ghost did a great job of expressing himself without (so I hope) offending anyone.

Great blog, I'm really glad with the way Ghost is handling it. It was an unfortunate event but the outcome of the game most likely wouldn't have changed.
