As the title says post what you look for in a fantasy player, and who you think are the best players.

For me I think obviously the first thing you have to look at about a player is what team they are on. Since wins are counted toward their rating, a player who is on a team that you believe will play poorly at a lan should be considered toward the bottom of the list.

Obviously, the first players you are going to want to choose for fantasy are the most well rounded ones. That is not the main slayers or pure objective players, but rather the guy on the team you think will do a bit of everything for the team. Examples of this are players such as Roy and Ace.

However since you will more than likely not be able to get 4 of the elite players you'll have to decide who is most valuable between the slayers or objective players. I would say to go for the objective players since as the previous 2 lans have shown they have consistently placed higher than the players that stats show them to be slayers.

Top 5 IMO:
1. Ace (the kid is literally a fantasy machine who has carried both of my teams to round 2 and a victory in round 2)
2. Heinz (first lan BTH played very well and I expect them to continue to do show with Heinz being the best fantasy player on the team)
3. Roy (I believe Instinct will play much better this lan, and Roy has the best shot of raking in those points for your team)
4. Cloud (If he can perform at lans like he does at tournaments, most notably Orlando '10, he should no doubt be a top fantasy player)
5. Pistola (I may be a little bias being an FB fan, but I just had to throw a FB player in the top 5, and Pistola racks up a crazy amount of points.)

You could change out 4 and 5 with really any player off of FB, BTH, or Instinct as all of the players on those teams are ridiculously good. Also, if TD continues to consistently win as they started at the last 6 team tourney players such as Hysteria and Totz both are terrific fantasy pick ups.

Edit: Can't forget about SQ, even though they are not at this upcoming 6 team lan they should be considered around the 4 or 5 slot. Enable would be the 2nd player of SQ to take after Ace imo, with Flamesword being a close third.

Enable did massive work at the 3-team LAN and carried my fantasy team to a 2nd round 1st place finish.

These are who I would want on my team based on the last Lan and what they have done at tournaments.
1. Heinz (will go about even every game, have the most obj. time on his team and BTH will probably win a lot which is also factored into their score).
2. Snip3down (Always seems to go mad positive and at the last 6-team Lan stepped up his objective time. Also I figure BTH will continue to win a lot of games which helps him in the fantasy scoring).
3. Lunchbox (He is to instinct what Heinz is to BTH; his K/D spread will be ok but he will have a massive amount of obj. time and instinct will win many games).
4. Victory X (Now i wouldn't be an FB fan if i didn't have my favorite player in the game on my list. it is a good thing he, in my mind, is the most well rounded player in the league. Mr. Versatility is a must have on any persons fantasy team).

Basically, you want well-rounded players, just like you said. Someone that slays well, will do objective, and can provide support. These are always the top players I try to draft.

1. Heinz
2. Roy
3. Hysteria
4. Destin
5. Victory X

Destin is such a sleeper pick and is someone you definitely want to pick up.

all of the support/objective oriented players get a lot of points. the people like totz, heinz, lbx, and OG2.

i remember reading the live chat during the first draft and no one wanted totz. yet he turned out to be one of the top fantasy players because all of the assists and objective time he racked up.

i also wouldn't mind having snipedown or neighbor on my team as they usually go insanely positive and it sometimes (not all the time :) makes up for their lack of assists/objective time.

Exactly that's why Heinz is considered by many to be the best player in fantasy. He racks up tons of obj. time and usually has a K/D ratio around 1 or slightly negative. When choosing players from the top teams I would say go for the well rounded or objective oriented players first. On the topic of Totz I would say that he is one of the better players in the league if TD can continue to win.

Well rounded players usually generate a lot of points, objective work goes a long way in the fantasy leagues, Wins/Losses go a long way too, my top 5 players would be

Enable
Roy
Heinz
FiS
Lunchbox
