Roy: In Halo 3, when you had the first shot, you were going to win the battle nine times out of ten. In this game, you are never out of a battle no matter what the situation is, so the game is much faster paced, because you can gain the advantage on the other team much more easily.
Thank you, Roy. Just another pro that knows what he's talking about. =)
I can't wait for Columbus. I'm so excited for this FB squad.

I think that's one of the reasons I love him and Lunchbox so much. Not only are they 2 of the most skilled players in the game, they're probably two of the most knowledgeable players, and that is really overlooked. I'm gonna have to change from rooting from Instinct to FB now that they're with them.

Roy is such a good guy. Getting teamed up with him two times in a row at TLN was awesome! I hope for the best for him!

Roy is the man. I remember watching the Benjak/Roy combo at PvJ. You two were rippin faces.

He's #1 RoyBox fan, which made him an Instinct fan, but now that Instinct is no more, he's following RoyBox to their new team.
Obvious.

I'm so pumped for this new FB team. I've been an FB fan since the beginning of Halo 2!

Uh...not sure how I feel about that analysis.
With a BR, getting the first shot adequately rewarded (or punished, if they were down a shot) people. With the bloom's inconsistency (dress it up however you want, shooting the same way every time often yields conflicting results), there's always a chance when battling someone. The bloom was designed to eliminate the randomness of the BR spread, but it's just as bad, if not worse. Not sure how inconsistency breeds an advantage.
Now with the above in mind, one would generally conclude that this slows down the pace of the game. Would love a more elaborate explanation of his thought process.

I sure hope they get to go as Final Boss. Either way I'm hoping that they Str8 Rippin and The Agency create a 3 headed rivalry that just gets ridiculous all season long.

I think if you put it more so into a scenario it is easier to picture. Say in halo3, you are down a shot. Natural instinct is to back down / stay alive. If you are down a shot in reach, the options available are to engage or back down. Thus, I agree with Roy when he says this because it does make it a lot faster I feel. I hope this helps.

Except in addition to the bloom's erratic kill times, we now have sprint, evade, and jetpacks to contend with as well.

Justin is a good feller. I hope he wins more than few tourneys this year.

What a great read. The God Squad is going to be difficult to beat indeed.
