Tax Return

Unfortunately, I'm getting about $1000 back from my taxes this year and just looking for some ways to spend it.

I dont have Astros so there is $250 gone, I need a new monitor so Ill be purchasing the MLG Monitors so there is another $156 down the drain. That leaves me with approximately $600 of disposable income to purchase something(this is disposable because I have budgeted all bills and expenses with this month's income and have approximately 9 months of income saved in case of another economic downturn).

So with that, what are some things you would buy with $600 and/or would advise me to look into?

Keep in mind a plane ticket to Anaheim seems likely in this situation.

I already give about 23% of my hard earned income to the unemployed, elderly, illegal immigrants, and many other government subsidies.

And to who quoted why getting that money is bad, it's not really bad but I'd rather change my W-4 federal tax witholding so I can receive more take home pay per paycheck. My reasoning there is that simply assuming a rate of return of 6%, I can make (1000*.06) 60 dollars throughout the year instead of receiving $1000 at the end. That is without compounding as well.

You should try to buy Astro's in our Buy/Sell/Trade Thread. Many people have sold Astros for under 200 on this site. Just a heads up ;) Have fun with your monies!
