Is anyone else upset that the new FB isn't called FB?

I am having a hard time with there being no Final Boss. I keep hoping I am just misunderstanding all these tweets and threads.

Final Boss and the Ogre's were the reason I really got into MLG. I am sure that many of you feel the same way. Maybe I am just being stupid and should just grow up and get over it. The players have, so maybe I should too.

But, I can't help but think that us, the fans, can save the Final Boss name. What if we started a petition or something or maybe just started a twitter phenomenon to save the FB name for Pistola, Ogre2, Roy and Lunchbox.

Does anyone feel the same way or am I being stupid???

OG2 wanted to do this but he didn't want to have Cam and Justin not have a seed. Everyone is still really good friends and they all agreed to have the names be what they were, but then MLG is making a decision that they have let slide in the past just to prove a point that teams shouldn't do this

the only reason they left victory x and fear was because if they did it the other way around they would have left them without a pro seed! Ogre 2 said he wasent going to do that! Besides the fact that thats it's retarded there not gonna have there name for cbus(but you never know, that petition might come through) there gonna be able to change there name afterwards back to fb! and instinct will be dead again! but whatever after all that there still FB! lol im done

Sign the Petition Sundance actually made. Hope Ogre gets to keep it, as he is the G.O.A.T :) if not, they should just be called Team 3D (his first team prior to FB)

Off topic: is this the year of the Resurrection? Agency to come back, Str8 to come back, and since Instinct might not happen... why not bring back 5K with Hokum?

MLG is all about sportsmanship and giving the fans "what they deserve". Sundance says this at the beginning of every event. If the fans and even himself want him to keep the name, then why can't it happen? It's a dumb rule anyway that demotes sportsmanship.

Ogre2 was looking out for his former teammates and did the right thing. MLG should do the same.

Hopefully Sundance can get on top of this and change it. I'm sure MLG doesn't want to create a reputation of not letting team names go with their founders.

I will be very disappointed if I watch Columbus and Ogre2 and Pistola (my 2 favorites) in an Instinct jersey. That ain't right. Not at all. It's like forcing David Ortiz to play for the Yankees. That just won't happen.

Well, 2gre's goal was to leave FiS and Victory with a seed(the 10th), and they were going to go as The Agency. Instinct (as the 6th seed) were going to become FB. All parties involved were okay with that. MLG took it upon themselves to reject that course of action because they want BOTH the Instinct and FB names to continue existing. The Agency could take the Instinct name, but I don't think they want to do that.

Fear and Victory were both on Instinct at one point or another weren't they? either way, i see what/why mlg is doing it, but they allowed t2 to use the classic seed when legit retired and keep the str8 name and also bth/dynasty switched names at the end of last season also. it gets tricky tho, since they want to let fear and vicX keep the seed. very classy by 2gre and pistola, to sacrifice the team name in order to let those guys keep the seed, i like seeing stuff like that.
