When I signed up at theLANnetwork.com I wasn't aware that my email would be transferred to my username. Is there already a way to change it, or change my email to make that my username?

If there isn't a way to change it. Could you possibly make an option to change it? I would hate to have to cancel my subscription, and re-open a new account just to change my username.

I know I had the same issue. I posted in the Help Desk forums and got a quick reply and they set up my username to be my login for my main TLN account.

This is a good ideal. I feel sorry for some of the people I see in the TLN chat that have names along the lines of... ohy3sirule345@hotmail

Yeah that happened to me Imp3nded. Went to post something and bam my email address was just right there. Didn't want that to be all over Google. I think they'll work something out. I did look through all the options on the forums and couldn't find a place to change it.

We heard your request and implemented a new tool that allows you to change your username if your current username is an email address. We respect your privacy and want you to be able to continue under the same account (especially if you're a premium member!).

If your current username is an email address, log into your account and visit: https://www.thelannetwork.com/login/my_account

You'll only be able to change it once... so choose wisely.

To change your username, would you have to change your email address that is associated with your account? then the email address you change too will be your username? I don't see an option to change "username" only password and email address.
