This thread is for the awesome ideas/aspirations/dreams you come up with whilst doing something else.

Format
1. What you were doing when thought occurred.
2. The Idea/aspiration/dream and the elaboration of said idea/aspiration/dream.


1. I was smoking a cigarette.
2. I want to write a totally awesome book about a group of 3 friends who wake up at the age of 11 years old again(with their current knowledge and/or addictions). Of course the friends aren't all the same age so they wake up at 11 in different time periods. The premise of the book would be the friends dealing with the defining moments in their lives and what they would and wouldn't do differently and if they would ever try to convince people that they had already been 11 and are reliving a fraction of their lives. It would be broken down very psychologically and complex as to what the characters would be feeling/thinking and how it would either drive them insane/enlighten them.

Haha yeah man, I quit that other stuff months ago. But, the book is just a pipe dream right now. Maybe one day when the internet breaks, I'll write a book.

When I wondered if I could jump in the lake. So I did. I now walk on two sticks because I landed on a gator who was taking his afternoon nap.

Scotty; love your book idea man! Ha, ha...Got to be honest with myself here. I would make the same mistakes. Promise. Would change one thing however; focus on golf being my life's work. That way I can make millions; travel the globe staying in the nicest resorts, and be employed until I'm 90!

2. If I was born in Chicago during the 1920's to an Itailian family there would be no possible way I'd be able to say no to bootlegging and the gangster lifesytle. Regardless if I ended up dead or in jail. Easy money, lots of "scandalous ladies" to occupy my off time, the tommy gun, spending that easy money hand over fist, hell..what's not to love?! I wouldn't want to be a hit man though, those guys were expendable. Do the hit, then get wacked yourself. I'd want to organize my own mafia family and pay off police, politicians, gov't employees, so I could essentially run the city from the underground. Don Mortoino...hmmmmm. Would I have the stones to take out Al Capone? Years later would Francis Ford Coppola base a 3 part movie about me?

Then I shoved the spicy tuna hand role into my mouth and preceeded to turn around and stare aimlessly at fox news.

Thanks on the book idea, I thought it could potentially be something interesting. I would especially take time with the character development though so that you would really go through the emotions with them as they relived their pasts (or not).
This would be the coolest TV Series. (Your mob idea, to be specific)
