I host LANs in Tampa, FL. I have, arguably, the best private place to LAN at in FL, with room for upwards of 24 people. The most I've had at a LAN is 18 people, and I'm usually able to host them overnight, so that helps people driving from a distance. I am a political science major at Florida Gulf Coast University, and I've played Halo since I was about 12-13, when my younger brother made me play H1 at a local gamestop demo station. Loved it immediately, and later got Xbox Live in 2006 with H2. I've been a part of the competitive scene since 2007, and have thoroughly enjoyed it. Any FL players who want good LANs in Tampa should hit me up.

I should be holding my next LAN the first week of May. They generally fall on a Friday and Saturday, which makes it easier for people who have jobs/high school. I have to take summer classes in Fort Myers after that, but after those, I'll probably hold another one.

I'm also going to try and pick up a 3-month or something and just have that for more friends list space. I hate that silly 100 person limit. At least give us 150 or 200 Microsoft. You can manage that right?

Also, anyone who is coming to my LAN, if you can, bring an OG Xbox, controller, and a copy of H2 and/or H1. I would love to get some nostalgia rolling. Mostly, we only get a few copies of H1, which is great for 2v2s (a lot of fun) but I would love to run some H2 4v4s.
