GodsSquad spawn traps Lxthul (Funny)

Hey guys I thought y'all would think this is funny.

Here's a video of Impact scrimming Instinct (Final Boss) #GodSquad, whatever you wanna call them. Fast foward the clip almost all the way to the end to 1 hr 13 min and 28 seconds. Ogre2 has the filthiest snipe on Lxthul which makes him scream hilariously. Then he continues to get spawn trapped 2 more spawns and rage quits. (Incase anyones wandering Final Boss destroyed Impact in all of the 5 or 6 games they played but I also heard that two of impacts memebers weren't warm at all and just jumped on to scrim cause neighbor wanted them to. Not sure if this is true or not.)

Remember how well Instinct and FB were doing online and at the TLN lans before Dallas? Then how did they place? I know this is a different line-up but I would not be surprised at all to see them get upset in C-Bus.

I agree with you. Although I think all 4 guys on Final Boss have proved that they are all individually some of the top players in the league and all have also proved they are great teammates and communicators, I still will not say they are my favorite to win columbus just yet. But they are practicing and scrimming like CRAZY so we'll see how it all transfers over to their first LAN and Columbus.

I will say though that I kind of do wish one team (perferably this one because I <3 Ogre2) would rise to become a dynasty in Halo:Reach because I loved it back in 07 when FB was always on top and other teams like Str8 and Carbon were trying to dethrone them. I miss those days. :(

i agree with cewashinton....i mean i dont want to hate on any team, but how many times have we heard that a team was a "god squad" in the past few years of halo and then they just dont bring it at a tournament. not saying that I dont want fb to do well, I really like the team alot but i find myself mentally being on the side of whoever they are playing just because...idk just because. i know i'm probably the only one that feels that way but all this God Squad stuff is starting to make me hope they place 8th.....

I'm a Str8 fan anyways.

Even though they have a strong roster, they can't really be upset. Before Instinct and FB took control in 2010 no one inside of Top8 could upset them because they weren't high enough seeds to be upset. Same kind of goes here, I look at upset as a seed based thing. So SQ, Impact and BtH can be upset in my mind.

They have to prove themselves, if they place high and show they are dominant this event, then they can be upset next event in my eyes.

there has never been a team (since h2) that is this dominant. they dropped like 1 series thus far and they just got together. its hard to not think about them as a god squad when they have the G.O.A.T. roy/pistola who are possibly the top 2 slayers in reach thus far and lunchbox who is a vastly underrated slayer and one of the best objective players since h3. they kinda are a god squad and i believe they get top 2 with sQ.

I agree with that. It seems that the other 7 teams in the top 8 have been written off. SQ I think is still above everyone. I should note that in no way, shape, or form am I a SQ fan. You make a pretty profound statement though when your winning games and half the team is going negative. The communication that SQ has is very good and underrated.

I 100% agree with this post. I also however would have raged if I spawned into a detonating bomb too...but more towards Bungie's lack of ability to make a properly functioning spawn system.

That is a false statement because their has very much been teams to do very very well at Lans and local events, but then once MLG weekend hits everything changes up. Just because your the favorite going in to a MLG event does not mean you going to win a event. Just because you haven't lost a game going into the event does not mean your going to win a event.

As this thread is merely predictions you have to favour them to not be "upset", as their win/lose is all you have to go off of, especially when it's a newly formed team. Otherwise it is based off of personal opinion/preference.

I think it's just about context tbh. As you say, they're 4 of the most highly thought of Reach players, and specifically 2 insanely good duos, I think a good part of it is people really wanting to see this lineup happen post Dallas and then it did. The fact that they're absolutely dominating online to a degree not seen thus far in Reach (I know teams like DH did very well online in the offseason but if you compare this team's performances to how long they've been together I think it still trumps DH) only solidifies that by reinforcing the expectations people had of what would happen if this lineup formed.

Godsquad mostly means very stacked lineup tbh, 4 superstars. SQ are an insane team but the whole is very much greater than the sum of the parts. The fact that the new FB also mesh incredibly well as a team and seem to have a teamshot sprung right from the depths of hell only helps matters tbh.
