Description:
Despair is a inverse symetrical map that features five rooms, two of which are mirrored and a central atrium. It highly promotes the use of the jet pack while offering no disadvantage to the use of sprint.

@Dragon: Hope you like it man.

@ Hea7: I'm not a fan of room based maps either. This doesn't play much like one though. Not campy, plenty of movement options, and plenty of cross map and room to room line of sight.

@Nitro: Should be running some customs on it tonight. I'll be bouncing back and forth from my xbox and my psych/econ books though... End of semester, major cram session time. :(

Kinda interesting to see what you did since I saw it who knows how long ago. Looks nice, can't wait to play on it.

@ Toolbox: Warlock really wasn't an inspiration for the design of this map, especially considering the teleporters were a late addition in the testing phases. The top middle of the map however was influenced some what by Warlock.

@ Nitro: Sorry I dipped in the middle of your game last night. Had some things to take care of that popped up.

@ Indecent: Yeah, the map has been through a lot of changes since it initially began. All the previous versions were simply test variants. Pretty sure this is the final form of the map, although I may drop the teleporters and two of the central ramps if TaK or KC agree with it.

Its ok dude the map played really well I thought.

OT: definitely consider LOS in Mid but overall a very fun map :)

Map has been reforged to support split screen play. Some minor tweaks made as well... Rooms slightly rescaled and "stealable" jump ups added at the jet pack spawns.

I hate to say this, but it really seems that this community simply isn't supportive of the forge community. Every one loves to b***h about how bad forge maps when they get chosen, but no one wants to take the time to push for good ones before the selections are made. And when y'all actually do rally behind a map, its either because its forged by a name you recognize or is a remake of some sort.
Really disappointing.
Please people, help support the forge community and make MLG better!
