Recently Purchased the Razer Onza TE Edition and...
When i plug the 2.5 male chat cable coming from the
Mix Amp to the Onza, the ppl in my party/lobby can
hear a nonstop LOUD high pitch noise "that i CAN'T hear" coming
from my mic, "voice icon is at full blast" but when i unplug the 2.5 chat cable from the onza, the
noise stops.
Anyone else having the same problem?
Is it the onza, because its 3rd party?
Is it because its wired?
Does the Original MS wired controller have this problem?
Do i have a faulty Onza?
How can i fix this?
Didn't do it before with the Wireless MS Controller.
Searched google/MLG forums and yet no answer...
Im using the Senn PC 350 if that helps...

My guess would be that if it doesn't do that with anything else its got to be the headset. You shouldn't be getting that kind of feedback, but normally you would be able to hear it as well so I'm not sure.

you should try a different mic and see if you still get the sound. it might be the onza, but i haven't had any problems with the mic port on mine.

This is false. This issue does exist, I have found it to be a problem with the controller and not astro, it is currently a problem with my ms controller, but not at your level of a problem, it just shows that I'm saying something constantly. Usually its a short in the controller, see if you can try it on another controller and if the problem doesn't get fxed I don't know.

this is caused by the fact that you don't have a battery pack in the mix amp if you place some batteries in there it should fix the problem.

Thanks for all the feedback guys, found out what the problem was.
I just powered up my mix amp via my usb port in my xbox instead
of my power outlet.
