So Granted most of this site is massive halo players with the limited lovers of all things fighting games. So this is for the fighters lol. Come June 10-12 in Orlando CEO which is part of the EVO fighting circut will be held. For those of you that don't know EVO is the MLG of all things fighting games from tekken and SSFIV to MVC3 and MK9 if you fight they most likely hold a tourny for it. CEO is the second to last of remaing tournys with EVO finishing it out in LAS VEGAS. So lots of the Pro fighters will becoming with the hope of gaining last min points that will make EVO alot easier and also for the 5,000 pot that most of the games have. Granted for those who know how the tournys work there is always a oppurtunity to make some side cash via money matches that happen in MVC3 and SSFIV. Supriseingly my wife is letting me do this (granted i am paying with left over pell grant money lol )but I can't wait Taylor aka HavkinKnight is also coming out to fight along side me via team matches and were both practicing hardcore to try and make it far.
This last week i had the oppurtunity to compete in the Calm before the storm tourny and placed 49th outta 72 in MVC and then 17 outta 23 in mk both places are resepectible but i feel i could have done much better via nerves of lack of practice....i had the fourtune or miss fourtune to be streamed on iplaywinner (kinda got worked over lol he placed 23rd though so i feel a little better about it lol ) but I got so much from all of it and what it takes to do this kinda game. Also as of last night i am on staff at CEO thanks to googlemyname aka Alex Jailbeyly who is running this event so i will most likely be working pool matches entering data and what not. this is also going to get me a chance to meet and play pros and learn lil tid bits (yes Havkin i am bringing you along lol :P)
So any one that stays in florida needs to be at the event its going to be epic this might be the biggest amount of pros in once place at one time.
Also NOS, Bandi, Hori and Madcatz are sponsoring the event so there will be sweet swag and awesome prizes
oh and smbb and disseria will be friday night as well
