so ya, in july im leaving to basic, my mos is 25 b, im wondering, what can i take to ait. i wanna see if i can take my xbox. so i can still keep my skills up since my ait is 5 1/2 months long, but i wanna see what can i have at ait and what i cant have

all my friends had an xbox in ait, but I don't think you can take it to basic so unless you come home in between the 2 or get it mailed you have to buy another one.

yes you can take your xbox to ait and a tv some ait's however differ mine was easy going. my friends however was a little more strict and he only got an hour a day for electronics we got until the work day was over until lights out (or after if you know what you are doing lol) ait is nothing compared to basic b/c all the DS (drill sergeants) have been removed from ait's. hope this helps.

WTF is AIT? Must be some Air Force thing or something... Its pretty universal across all the branches that you really can't bring shit to basic. Then with the Marines, you really can't bring shit anywhere till you hit the fleet.

Nope its army lingo, Air Force it is called tech school. But agree basic, the only thing you really can have is the things they issue

ait is the marines version of their MOS school. The only difference is the army is still in Traddoc when they are in AIT

Hello there. I'm a 25 series like yourself, meaning you'll be going to Fort Gordon, Georgia for AIT. Pretty cool place but you be visiting the mall very often when you get out of phase 4(remember that). I had my xbox sent to me hen i was at AIT. Whatever you do, don't bring it to basic with you.
