EVO = Evolution 2011. It is the largest fighting game tournament in North America, and is held annually in Las Vegas. This year it will feature Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition, Marvel vs Capcom 3, Mortal Kombat 9, Tekken 6, and BlazBlue: Continuum Shift 2.

There will be players from all over the world competing, and it's going to be amazing for sure. If you've never been into fighting games, I suggest you give them a look. I personally can't get into playing them, but I love watching the tournaments. A lot of the matches are really close and it can get SUPER HYPE!

also, @vontoxic: it'll happen when it's time. Fate has postponed it for now. And I never said this but I love your sig. I'm thinking Wolfkrone vs Tokido in Grand Finals at EVO 2011 would be my dream matchup. Akuma and Viper are two of my favorite characters to watch.

all i know is there is still a chance to get seating points if you make it outta pool play i belive at either CEO or the other major that happens before evo also vontoxic you should come out and watch man its at the wyndham its going to be epic like everyone will be there pro fighter wise

how did top 8 for marvel play out at powerup? I was super hyped for evo until I saw that it is the same weekend as Anaheim and I play on being there.

I just got back in contact with a cousin who lives in Orlando who likes fighting games so I'm going to see if he would like to go. I dont think he has seen fighting games at this sort of competitive level, so he might be interested. I'm also seeing if a friend who lives close to me wants to go cause he has about the same knowledge as me about fighters but I dont think he is aware of CEO.

Gweedo met Alex (the Runner and Provider of CEO) and became friends with him got his number and stuff and got us the Hook Up so im flying out a week eailer and we are gonna Chill and stuff we get to play with all the Pros on Thursday and stuff after Set up. its gonna Rock meeting Everyone
