Should MLG try different Locations for events????

I'm sure MLG does their best to get around and the places they have chosen are for very specific reasons but I would love for them to come back to Meadowlands as well

Yeah if you listen to some interviews of MLG staff members, they explain in detail why they can and can't go to certain cities. It's harder than you think.

Quick version of "Why no Meadowlands?" is because it is too small and too expensive for MLG now.

I'm good with the places they got I think they are going to places that more people are like Orlando they know it's alot of people there and that are MLG fans at heart. But, ya they need more places to the score can get better and bigger

I'm gunna agree with this. International high-traffic airport, major interstate hub, plenty of floorspace with the number of conference centers and event locations, diverse crowd, and a pretty decent following of both fans and players. Not to mention that it's a nice mid point between Orlando, Cbus, and Raleigh and could include more of Alabama, Miss, Tenn and such...

I never understood this explanation. They just redid the Meadowlands Arena like last year and its HUGE!!!!! I don't think it being small would be the reason for them not going.

I appreciate that it's probably not an option right now, but if MLG are serious about becoming a global force, they could do a lot worse than MLG London. There are a LOT of UK Reach players and it'd be a financially realistic trip for players from mainland Europe - a lot of the ECL teams would show up for sure. Hell, it could even be billed as a US vs. Euro showdown (even though I'm realistic enough to know it'd be a bit of a whitewash I'm sure a lot of people underestimate the amount of European talent out there). Plus, there'd be interest in Starcraft and COD which you probably wouldn't get in somewhere like Korea where it'd be Starcraft only.

my dream event location is already an event this season and has been one forever. Orlando, because its an hour drive for me and i used to live there so its nice to go back and visit every once in a while.

i guess tampa would be cool too. even closer.
