Here is a fun video with some facts. Skip to about 3:50 where Frank O'conner from 343 Industries talks about we will see Master Chief back again! Also keep in mind that Bungie is handing Reach over to 343i and see what they can do with it. I believe Taco (AoTM) had posted it a while back. Also I think it's kinda funny how the building 343i will be using is the old Bungie HQs lulz
Here is the video and skip to 3:50 to go around the H3 ending.

I don't understand why 343 are messing around with this CE remake when it's a lose/lose situation for them. Sure it'll probably shift a few units but the rumour is that there's no online PvP (co-op only) because they know it'll kill Reach online (at least I assume that's the reason).
Secondly, unless the game emulates all of the original CE's glitches it'll be dismissed by the competitive community and this is the problem that afflicts many recent games: What made CE and Halo 2 so great was that they were imperfect. All the glitches made the game more playable somehow and significantly widened the skill gap between casual and serious players. People don't like perfection because it feels sterile and inhuman and doesn't encourage any personal investment in the game.
Massive development budgets and hugely improved QA results in a game with very few or no glitches and while that in itself is technically impressive given the complexity of modern games, to the player it subconciously seems that the developer is saying "you'll play this game how we tell you it's supposed to be played". Before, players would discover (or hear about) glitches that might give them a competitive edge, practise using them and incorporate them into their play style. What they've done is make the game "theirs" and that's what's missing these days.
Maybe Microsoft just want to wring a few more pounds/dollars/whatever out of the franchise over the Christmas period. Which is OK I guess but doesn't do anything for the gaming community and runs the risk of damaging the reputation of Halo 4 long before it's even released ("who made Halo 4? 343 Industries? Didn't they produce that shitty CE remake a while ago? I'll pass...")

The Halo CE remake is ment to come out november 15 for the tenth anniversary of the halo series made by JOYSTICK not 343 and to the halo 4 question the roumer is microsoft have said that they will try to bring a halo out every year but make it like activision do (activision do the main series then the let treyarch do one to keep people playing it) so the CE remake is a project on the side witch will let 343 bring halo 4 out around about christmas 2012/january 2013

Wow, you guys are all full of BS!
Their is no such thing as "CE REMAKE"
If so, i want to see a link on 343 industries confirming this.
I don't care what joystick say or any other gaming website.
They are not the ones creating the game are they?
