Yeah dude I understand what you mean. Same thing has happened to me before. When you think about they have a reason for them not playing with other people for free. When you get spammed 24/7 with invites you kinda have no choice. But if your running solo I see no harm with running with some body you said you were going to play with. Also with the ignoring bull, it's dumb to do that. You might not be able to reply to everyone but it doesn't hurt to take 5 minutes to go through some of your msgs. I've seen countless of pro streams when they sit in lobby for 10-15mins, check their msg inbox, and not look at them and just let them remain sitting there unread. It's w/e though I guess. But I do agree with you bro.

I've sent quite a bit of messages and I'll tell you the only pro that has never answered me back in a msg is Strongside tbh

this is just a misunderstanding. Pros do not ignore, its just they dont have time. I have a pretty small fan base on JTV and sorta on TLN. I play with EVERYONE who wants to play with me cause i have alot of time on my hands. Pros need to practice alot so you cant blame them. Im good friends with Neighbor, great friends with MLG Coach Cheeky, friends with Adrenaline/Lethul/AmishAcorns. Its really fun becoming friends with them! just support them, and they will give you their thanks! keep supporting them and grab their attention!

... How many people do u have seriously begging to play with u? That might come across as an insult and its not intended to be one. But u cant compare the most likely minimal amount of requests to play w/ u to the hundred of requests Pros get each day

im just comparing myself to a pro. Others have alot of time in their hand. Pros dont. Alot of people message me asking for team scrims and i get my team to vs them. thats what im talking about, i get invites from alot of fellow TLN players and i always accept. thats all im saying.

Its like coming across a professional basketball player on the street and asking them to play. Its the same deal. There's a reason that pros charge and refuse to play without charge. They can't play/add everybody. Sure, that would be great if they did things for free, but its not because they think they're better (which a lot of the time its true), its because they can't just run with everybody, and what're they gonna say when u ask them to run, "No I charge..." there would be the same response, only difference is they wouldn't have to listen to people hounding them play if they just said "yes" and then didn't do it.

Truth!

Some pros, yes are a bit shady and that's just how they are, but in all honesty. If I could add everyone....I would.
It just comes down to who wants to gain your attention while you are playing the game. Not who invites or sends the most messages. If someone pays, then they are more likely to get game time or lessons over someone you meet in MM. I do free game time personally because I would rather play with everyone on a game then charge them, just my personal feeling. When I get invited, if I'm in a good mood or not about to go do something, then I'll join, but if I'm in a bad mood or have to bounce. Then you know the deal.

It's not that they don't want to play with you, it's just the fact that they might just want to play alone or they are just not in the mood.

probably because they don't feel like playing with some fan boy whos wont shut up about how awesome they are for hours, imo the biggest thing to remember is that while you respect these guys and would love to be there friends, they know nothing about you, so if you just talk about them how are they supposed to know if they like you or not, you just get grouped with all the other d-riders. Bottom line is that they have a ton of fans who would love to play with them, so give them a reason to want to play with you.

i dont blame pros for not responding messages. If you watch legit streams when he opens his inbox he has like 50+ messages. He cant respond to all them. I have had replies from messages though from heinz, fearitself, robbie b and ninja =]

It's difficult for pros, and many people don't realize that. Even if they wanted to, they just don't have the time to play with every fan that sends them an invite.
If complete randoms send you messages and invites constantly, would you accept them all? If you had 100 or so unread messages would you respond to them all? I know I wouldn't. Realistically, put yourself in their shoes, what would you do?

Clutch invites me to games and responds to nearly all of my messages and even includes smiley faces after each message, Maniac responds as well even during team scrims. Cloud responds to every single one because he is just that kind of guy. Also I asked Cloud to game with me and later that day I got an invite seems like it's a BtH thing. My advice go to more than one event and hang out with the pros there and introduce yourself makes things simpler.

Let's put is this way. All the pros are in the championship bracket. Atleast 95% of them fought their way through the amateur bracket just get placed at where they are today. The simple fact is that Pros don't feel you have earned that right until you make it out off Amateur bracket and earn a pro seed. The same can be said for all professional athletes. They proved through raw talent and skill that they earned the right to be in the professional leagues and get paid big money. It is true that occasionly they do charity events for kids who would like to play with them, but pro gamers also ocassionally do the same thing. You want to play with the big leagurers, PROVE YOURSELF.

I would be kind of annoyed if I got so many requests and invites every day also. It must be tough knowing you are ignoring all those people, but it must be done. As someone said it is just like pro athletes in the NBA, NHL, NFL etc. They have people asking them to play everyday I'm sure when they see them walking the streets. We need to understand that they are people!! When you get matched up in MM with a pro or more than one, be humble. Don't start going nuts and asking hundreds of questions. Honestly, I've gotten matched up against Pros more so than with them. Just show respect. Say good game after, good luck before if communication between teams is available. If they are on your team play it like any other person, just play the game. In the end you are playing Halo. If gametime is really that important to you buy it. If I was a player with pro status, all I would ask fro is respect. Treat me like anyone else. Not to mention a lot of pros are starting to do community customs and community MM. They are trying to get the community involved a lot more. Give it time guys. MLG and competitive gaming is growing, eventually I'm sure there will be ways to play with some of the top pros.

Pretty positive he didn't call you a D-rider. But way to be insecure about it.

Sorry I didnt mean you as in Miiklo, I mean you as in anyone trying to game with pro's, and by d-riders I meant anyone who just message spams them telling them how awesome they are 24/7 and begging for invites, and then acting like they are the messiah when you do play together, if you do fall into that category i would suggest toning it down, and if you don't then the comment isnt about you. Others have said, why should they play with you if by the messages and stuff you seem like just an obsessed fan boy, that might make them uncomfortable to play with you, Like I said you have to give them a reason to want to play with you, whether it be because you are funny, met them in real life, or paid them, otherwise they have no way to prioritize the huge list of invites they get so they just ignore them.

Personally for me I understand that they don't have time to play or they don't want to. Its understandable that the want to practice. I have sent messages to numerous pros after.playing with them or before an event, include something like good game or good luck and they always seem to respond.

I HATE getting matched with pros (admittedly it's only happened on a couple of occasions) because I suck and end up going -20. Then I shamequit.

UPDATE: Seriously, what's up with that? How can someone like me get matched with pros? Truskill must be seriously broken in Reach.
