Hey, I am going to be a senior in high school next year, and I am debating on whether or not to pick AP Environmental Science or AP Statistics or both.

Could you guys help me decide to pick a choice?

Please comment here about your experiences in these classes/ rate the difficulty of class and AP test/ etc:

~Thank you!

AP Statistics wasn't that bad. I can't remember if I made a 3 or 4 on the test, I think a 4. My school didn't offer environmental sciences.

Depends on what major you're going to be choosing in college. Chances are neither of them will matter.

Both. Beef up you transcripts, plus it will be more interesting then taking some bs filler class that makes you wanna commit seppeku.

I agree with Antidote. But even if you don't think your future major requires those courses I'd take them anyway because around 70% of college students change their major atleast once before graduating. But I don't know how good my advice is because although i'm graduating college this summer with a good GPA back in HS I COMPLETELY blew off my senior year and took the easiest courses possible!! haha If you need to go talk to your academic advisor or counselor or whatever your school calls it.

AP Statistics. It is a core course at most colleges and you will need to take it there, however, if you take it in HS, then you earn the credit and don't have to pay to take it in college. This is not just a transcript thing. I would say take Stats 100%. Not to mention the fact that it will be 1000 times easier in HS.

I think taking Antidote's advice would be a wise choice. ;) I say this because I'm an Engineering student, and AP Statistics wouldn't do much for my education whereas Environmental Science might. Figure out what you want to do in college first then decide...although to be honest, taking them both would make you look really respectable to colleges. So even if you never used one or both of them, they could still be beneficial in the long run.

Yeah I took about 3 AP English courses my Senior year. I'm now a Music Ed major and let me tell you how much those courses count right now lol.
