If your an extremely active player like me, chances are your going to have your fair share of frustrating games. Theres always that time during the day when you've been playing too long without taking a break and you start to play on Autopilot, Or maybe theres that GB game you just lost because you played a good team. Whatever your poison may be, there always comes a time where you get discouraged and feel like getting offline. Here are some tips that will help you stay motivated (or at least they work for me) so that you can keep the blaine on all day long.

1. Try not to let your losses get to you, remember, its only Xbox Live. If you lose a GB game it IS going to get to you. Take a 5-10 minute break from MLG and go play a game or 2 of Team Slayer, drop +15 and i guarantee you will feel a bit better.

2. Start cracking jokes with your friends in the lobby, even if you dont feel like it just say something stupid that you know your friends will start laughing at. Its impossible to stay mad while you are laughing.

3. Dont worry about getting out DMR'd, it happends to EVERYONE even the pros.

4. For the love of god, DONT RAGE! At the time a simple "F***K" or "OMG! Damnit!" might seem like a reasonable thing to say, but every time something negative comes out of your mouth it will only dig you in a bigger whole of frustration. Keep the comments inside and just let them go.

5. Listen to your favorite song after a bad game, take a break, and watch a video. Anything you can do to forget about that last game.

6. Play something that you KNOW you will do good in, like Big Team Battle. Out DMR some guests and its all gravy.

7. Work out, take a jog, play a different game for 30mins, anything you can do to release stress and get back in the zone.

8. Surf TLN! Maybe even write out a long thread about how you hated that previous game to vent and then just delete it, and dont post it. it might seem pointless but writing is a great way to relieve stress.

9. if you do just start having a bad snipe/dmr in-game just go hang out in Customs, or go play like Score Attack or something easy to calm yourself. <-- TLN Ghosty

What are some of your ways you relax after a bad game?
How do you stay calm in game?

Share some tips with the community and i will add them here! Nobody wants to play a game if they are not having fun.

Nice, yeah my first 3-4 games of the night i'll explode in the positive, then I'll notice my self doing worse and worse as the night goes on.. "Auto-pilot" nailed it's on the head for me, haha. I'll keep these in thought, nice post.

Add this, and if you do just start having a bad snipe/dmr in-game just go hang out in Customs, or go play like Score Attack or something easy to calm yourself.

This post is amazing. Very helpful and it brings up helpful ways I have never thought of before. My team can tell anyone of you that just quiting is the biggest problem with me. (The are the reason I quit but that doesn't matter.) Some of these ideas I have used, but I will be sure to use these in the future.

HAHA well it's hard not to rage sometimes, but like I always try to remember. It's XBL, things are going to happen because of connection. There is nothing you can do. Same goes for GB obviously.
