Eh, I doubt it. Remember when MLG was very intent on pushing AvP about 2 years back? (just a random thought)

I thought AvP was because theey got paid to do it, sort of like homefront a couple months back. TBH I don't think brink will be a flashy enough game for mlg, not to mention probably not popular enough, but it would be cool.

COD.
But really, I do agree that it may not be popular enough to be on the circuit.

Unfortunately, crappy games like CoD get noticed nowadays, so we shouldn't expect any more good games to get noticed.

No. Not because it's bad (I liked the very little I played) but because tons of good games come out that MLG never even really looks at. Plus many games that they do add don't last. Just about every fighter they've ever tried has failed on the circuit despite being popular (and successful in other competitive gaming events), ShadowRun failed, and Gears was taken off the circuit. It's not about quality as much as it is popularity.

And I don't think COD will last long either unless they are getting enough money from sony to outweigh the costs of hardly having anyone attend.

Gears was taken off due to the glitches and poor LAN I do believe. I wouldn't be surprised if GoW 3 makes the circuit once it drops. That game is really fun to play even in the Beta stages.

I heard from a gears kid that many gears 2 disks were stolen.... could be a rumor, but that's what I heard. :P
But if this game were to ever have a chance I think the gameplay would hopefully be more teamwork oriented and like others have said it will need to gain some popularity....
yeah... Brink isnt that exciting to watch soooo no.
GoW3 probably yes tho

Me to you guys i don't see brink as a good game i was watching some gameplay and it bored me fast I was like damn it looked like a good game. But it wasn't a good game it sucked. But, I think Gears 3 is going to make it because in the
Gb gears 3 homepage there are 2,018 team already and the game didnt came out yet. Gears please make it :)

Personally I think Brink is an awesome game, and it's not fun to watch YET, but with the Parkour element of it, we could be seeing slide/vault/air shots that are disgusting lol, and I'm sure commentating would make the experience that much more enjoyable, the game, in gameplay aspect is amazing, it's a mix of Killzone 3 and Team Fortress 2, both good games in their own right.
MLG has be ostrasized by people because they never put anything "NEW" on the circuit, Brink was hyped for a long time and I like the game, it did not disappoint me. I'm pretty sure MLG will consider putting it on the Circuit but IDK if it will happen. GoW 3 will replace CoD at hte end of the season, I believe that completely. So having GoW 3, Reach, and SC2 that's only 3 games, argueably the biggest 3 games but still lol.
I do believe MLG may heavily test Brink but as for it going on the Circuit? Maybe an exhibition like they did with Halo Pro's playing Gears? To see how that goes, and from there on figure it out, but right now it's hard to say yes or no to it.

I bought Brink and will be returning it in a few days...I was disappointed with the game. I would love to see GoW 3 on the circuit though

Most of what I've read are saying that Brink doesn't have LAN capability. That alone should be a deal breaker. The lag issues with SC2 in Dallas were a big enough blemish on the event, could you imagine if half of the xboxes get kicked off live, or if the PSN fiasco happens again? Not to mention that a FPS is going to be far more sensitive to bandwidth restrictions than an RTS.

2 weeks after I bought the game I sold it back for $25. I was happy to get it too.

Not competitive enough. The game feels like a bad remake of time splitters. Just my opinion.
