The Black Intensity Pro has higher quality than an external Hauppauge. 1080p > 1080i. I think that most people stream in 720p with their HD PVRs but Best Man uses a Intensity Pro and has the best streaming quality I have seen, it's sooooo crisp.

Go with a Avertv internal its about $100 http://www.amazon.com/Avertv-Definition-Analog-Capture-MTVHDDVRR/dp/B002SQE1O0/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1305249603&sr=8-2 and make sure you have a good processor in your computer and ATLEAST 4mbps upload speed. Preview: http://www.justin.tv/oldskool_gamer/b/285297275 this is my stream at 3500kbps. You'll also need a HDMI splitter http://www.amazon.com/Sewell-Port-Powered-Splitter-1080p/dp/B003B4O7NS/ref=sr_1_13?ie=UTF8&qid=1305248552&sr=8-13 and 3 hdmi cables. Stream using this program http://www.xsplit.com/ Also if you plan on streaming Halo dont expect people to watch it unless you are a pro. Pros get all the halo reach viewers.
