Ok guys. There have been a lot of questions about streaming, the equipment you'll need, and how to set it up. So, without further ado, I give you the Forefront guide.

EDIT!!!!: I want to correct something in this video. You cannot use a VGA to component cable for the HD PVR setup. You will need a VGA cable, to VGA/component conversion processor, to component cable, to the PVR. The processor is something like this.

Awesome guide. I wish my bandwidth was nice enough to stream (I only get .90MB/s up). Here is a tip though, since 1280 x 720 output size gives you black bars just check the crop box and crop out the black area and you are good. no need for 900 x 506! Although still works well.

No, I meant it gives me weird bars across the picture. It gets really dark and distorted. Either way, I use Wirecast now and it streams 720p just fine.

$40 for a Dazzle on ebay and you're golden. No one will watch though. Not because of you, it's just that at SD quality like I said in the video, it's hard to tell whats happening much less get into the game. Minimum HD cost? $100. But even then it's gonna be no better than 480p. If you want 720p you're gonna have to spring for at least an AverMedia at $150+

Awesome guide! Just a few questions: How do you add a webcam to your stream? Would you be able to add the name plate and other images like from the Suddoth's streams? And what about getting your voice along with the voices of the other players? How would that work out?

Also, how do you use the Hauppauge with this? I keep getting this error message:

"Please very that the video capturing device is working correctly and is currently not in use"

@Vampire
1. Adding a webcam: Purchase a webcam, set up the webcam, and get a broadcasting program that can integrate multiple shots into one. Like wirecast (though you might want to find a free one)

2. The Suddoths took screenshots of the MLG stream, cropped out the lower third, and put it into their broadcasting program. They made a .gif for the astro listen in thing. It takes some photoshop time, and some knowledge about your broadcasting program to do this.

3. For voice you can use a mixer like this Behringer XENYX 502 (http://www.google.com/products/catalog?q=behringer+5+channel+mixer&um=1&ie=UTF-8&tbm=shop&cid=14150433598990035929&sa=X&ei=u67xTd2GGIWbtwfMlLiRAw&ved=0CEAQ8gIwAw)
