So finally after a month away from the comfort of my home. I finally returned home this weekend and went directly to gamestop to pick up Reach even before I got home from the airport. For the past 2 weeks I've watched my fair share of streams and read countless reviews. After playing most of the weekend, I've come to see that my expectations were met and even beyond. I actually love this game! Personally I think Bungie did a great job creating a new gaming experience but still keeping the essence that is Halo.
I really don't see why almost everyone does nothing but complain about the bloom and how shots do not register and how the AA make the game suck and how the DMR is useless and all that other stuff. I've had no problems what so ever getting used to this game and have no problems getting 5sk 90% of the time.
I love the campaign. Only problem was I found it a bit short, but maybe thats cause I only ran through it on normal and had no difficulty with it. The matchmaking is sound but I was disappointed to see no MLG playlist even though I know the settings were just released Friday. There are tons of issues with Arena. I went into it alone and kept getting betrayed whenever I got my hands on a power weapon (so much for teamwork). Other then that the matchmaking was pretty good... if you have a decent team backing you up.
I'm currently looking for people who would like to play some customs and show me the call outs as I have no idea what everyone is calling areas on the map (none of my friends either talk or care enough to learn callouts so I'm lost lol). So if you are looking for another custom player and want to show me the ropes for call outs and some strats, I'm more than willing to join :)
